"The hottest collection of studs in romance" (New York Times best-selling author Angela Knight) returns as number-one New York Times best-selling author J. R. Ward brings together two of the most beloved people in the Black Dagger Brotherhood world - at last....
Qhuinn, son of no one, is used to being on his own. Disavowed from his bloodline, shunned by the aristocracy, he has finally found an identity as one of the most brutal fighters in the war against the Lessening Society. But his life is not complete. Even as the prospect of having a family of his own seems to be within reach, he is empty on the inside, his heart given to another....
Blay, after years of unrequited love, has moved on from his feelings for Qhuinn. And it's about time: The male has found his perfect match in a Chosen female, and they are going to have a young - just as Qhuinn has always wanted for himself. It's hard to see the new couple together, but building your life around a pipe dream is just a heartbreak waiting to happen. As he's learned firsthand.
Fate seems to have taken these vampire soldiers in different directions...but as the battle over the race's throne intensifies, and new players on the scene in Caldwell create mortal danger for the Brotherhood, Qhuinn finally learns the true definition of courage, and two hearts who are meant to be together...finally become one.

I have been following this series since the beginning. I have been rooting for Blay and Quinn for quite sometime. I spent have the book yelling in my head at the characters and the rest laughing. I don't want to say that the book was funny because it wasn't. It was just the giggling little girl thing. I loved this book and if you like this series you will love this book. my only question is... What happens next.
When the Blackdagger Brotherhood was recommended to me I thought I would not J.R. Ward's Fallen Angels series is very good. I expected it to be funnier after reading The Blackdagger Brotherhood, where the angel is hilarious.like it, based on title alone. I couldn't be more wrong! I instantly fell in love with the books!
The Black Dagger Brotherhood is one of my favorite series of all time and of all genres. I think JR Ward is an exceptional writer and had created a complex and believable alternative universe. If you haven't read from the beginning I highly recommend it. Also, you might also want to check out Ward's other series the Fallen Angels that takes place in the same universe as this one and occasionally ties in.
I was so pleased with this book came out. Finally, Qhuinn and Blaylock get their love story an their much deserved HEA. The internal conflict that Qhuinn overcomes is dealt with in a realistic and thoughtful manner.
Unlike the rest of the books where there may have been one open ended issue, this book really left you feeling like there were many open-ended issues. The book overall was great, love this series. Now sitting on the edge waiting for the next one. Also I like this reader he does a great job with the characters.
This is the best series on audible by far. If your into sexy alpha male vampires this is the series for you.
Book 11 is about Quinn son of no one and his lover Blay and how both men must find there true identity not only in the brotherhood but all so out in the larger world before they can become as one. SPOILER ALERT If you as a reader LOVE hot guy on guy sex scenes with a little kink thrown in this is the novel for you.
Jim Frangione narration for the whole series is Audible Oscar worthy. Audible should think about giving awards out to there top narrators without good narration the story is ruin.
The Black Dagger Brotherhood series is number one on my top ten audible play list.
To anyone who has not downloaded one of the books in the series give the boys a try and you will be hook just like me.
Blay- he is sweet
I liked his performance.
You are finally mine!
JR is writing better than ever in this book. here were sentences that were so great I listened to them a few times.
Busy working mother and wife. I love the hot romances with happy endings. If I want to hear something depressing I will turn on the news.
Just not for me. I usually become consumed by her books.
not sure, but I just could not force my self to finish it.
I still love JR Ward.
Look upward and see the wonders I've seen
Anyone more invested in the Blay/Qhuinn relationship.
I'm going to go against the flow and say this was one of my least favorite books. The Payne/Manny book will hold the top spot, but this is number 2. To be honest, I'm not a Blay/Qhuinn shipper. I never felt it. I always thought V and Butch had more chemistry than these two. I found this book to be too, too, too long! Dozens of chapters of Blay/Qhuinn angst, I was so much more interested in the subplots regarding Assail and Trez.
Yes, I love his narration.
I enjoyed the Trez and Assail story lines. I loved Wraith and Rhevenge being in it. There was very little John Matthew.
I think I will go back and read 10 again, I loved Tohr's story. If the next one is about Wraith, I will definitely buy it.
Not one of my favorite books from Black Dagger and it wasn't because of Blay and Qhuinn's relationship. The story line was very bland and uneventful. I wasn't very fond of the lack of closure on all the other story lines introduced. On the up side, there's obviously more books to come. Let's hope there's more excitment to come.
Lack of excitement in the story line
Love his voice and delivery of story
