Publisher's summary

The hottest collection of studs in romance” (New York Times best-selling author Angela Knight) returns as J. R. Ward brings together two of the most beloved people in the Black Dagger Brotherhood world - at last...

Qhuinn, son of no one, is used to being on his own. Disavowed from his bloodline, shunned by the aristocracy, he has found an identity as a brutal fighter in the war against the Lessening Society. But his life is not complete. Even as the prospect of having a family of his own seems within reach, he is empty on the inside, his heart given to another...

Blay, after years of unrequited love, has moved on from his feelings for Qhuinn. And it’s about time: It seems Qhuinn has found his perfect match in a Chosen female, and they are going to have a young. It’s hard for Blay to see the new couple together, but building your life around a pipe dream is just a heartbreak waiting to happen. And Qhuinn needs to come to terms with some dark things before he can move forward...

Fate seems to have taken these vampire soldiers in different directions, but as the battle over the race’s throne intensifies, and new players on the scene in Caldwell create mortal danger for the Brotherhood, Qhuinn learns the true meaning of courage, and two hearts meant to be together finally become one.

Man O Man O Man O Man O Man O Man O Man O Man !!!!

Look... It's Like this... U either Love or Hate BDB! I personal Love some... Hate some... so I don't get them all. This one is m/m romance. I love m/m romance, so guess what... I loved this one.. plus this one was finally the story of Quinn and Blay which I never thought would actually happen b/c it was m/m and I never thought J.R. would do this book, so I was kinda taken aback when it came out. I can't believe I am just now getting around to listening to it.

This book goes be on the realm of just good... Not a 5... but Man O Man.. it was pretty dang close. It so needed way more smexing for me... J.R. seriously lacked in the smex department like the rest of the BDB books but I am guessing that is because of the m/m romance, and m/m romance is not J.R. first cup of tea. Plus usually J.R. smex scenes are usually a bit more graphic and these were well a too tame... so I was just enough satisfy, but I needed more, so no 5, only a 4.. but other than that.. I enjoyed.

I might pick up Xcor's book b/c if he really does take over the BDB, OMG that is gonna be one heck of a book.. I think he actually knows where the lair is now.. b/c he can track Layla because he drank her blood...so it is all getting all kinds of interesting now... Man O Man O Man...

This is a credit, buy and a sale all in one... Narration was great too!

Excellent!!!

If you are anything like me and were a little worried for the series after the last book, fear no more. This one is really good. We finally get to see Blay and Quinn get together (and it is everything that I was hoping for) and even the arcs setting up future books are engaging. I am now eagerly anticipating the next book in the series. If you have read and enjoyed the other books in this series, I sure you have already purchased this one, if you have not read any of the books, I cannot recommend them enough, you are in for a treat.

Another wonderful BDB book

another great book from JR Ward about the brother hood, the story of 2 warriors who find that their life is different from their brothers, all though I could have done without the male on male sex parts, I loved the storyline. I do think that the writer is drawning out this series, I feel she needs to pick up the pace, solve some of the on going issuse that the BDB is dealing with, close up some gaps in the storyline.

BDB - The Sexist Vampires Ever

J.R. Ward's latest on the BDB is as fascinating and exciting as the first 9. It also goes without saying that the narrater has the sexiest voice in audiobooks! Now, I can hardly wait for #11.

I LOOOOOOVVED THIS BOOK!!!!

I have been obsessed with this series! When Qhuinn and Blay were introduced a few books ago, I literally counted down the minutes, chapters, and words until I could get to Lover at Last! So Good! A definite multiple listen for sure.

Quite honestly, this is my favorite paranormal series--every story has been riveting, excellent narration, phenomenal characters that are interesting, funny, and best of all, it's totally hot hot hot! As for Lover at Last, if you're not ok with M/M romance, this may be one to bypass. If you're ok with that, then get ready to have your world rocked!

Definitely credit worthy!

finally!

I have waited for this book for so long and it did not disappoint. well written, well plotted, intriguing, entertaining and filled with characters you become obsessed with. this story was told perfectly for this couple.. just enough humor, sweetness, sexiness and angst. love love love it!

The narration was done extremely well, adding even more excitement and personality to the characters and their story.
