I read this in print, and have enjoyed the audio version several times! this is a great author who really understand how to layer a story, with rich and complex characters, within a world!

Great book, but

Great book but audible does not have the chapters inline with a hardcover version as JR ward writes books with too many chapters.
I found this to be inconvenient when I wanted to read my hard cover book or when I wanted to pick up where I left off in the car. I spent a lot of time searching for the spot I last read.
Other then that I loved being able to listen to audible when I was busy but had time to listen. The book was amazing , recommend it!!!

They just keep getting better!

J.R Ward keeps the hits rolling. If you have gotten to book 3 then you know why! The plots are awesome, the characters are awesome, and the love scenes are hot!

Love it!

Been hooked since book 1. This is my second time reading through the series. Can't write much more. Don't want to give it away....

Not exactly what I hoped for, but amazing still

let me preface this review by stating clearly that these are just my personal opinions based on my preferences when it comes to romance books. I was looking forward to this book in particular because of Zsadist's perceived ruthlessness and angry nature based on his past. From what I saw before this and in the beginning, I was revved up for a Dom that was going to knock Bella's socks off. Beware if that's what you're hoping for because the book delivers just the opposite. So far, although the storytelling is magical and it's all very well done, I'm somewhat disappointed in the way that all of the brothers so far seem to be gentle, caring lovers. It would have been an improvement in my opinion if the author had made that different as the rest of their personalities. Different men, different kinds of lovers, it makes sense and that's what I expected but the sweet, loving, caring guy routine gets old after a while if you ask me. I was just hoping that Zsadist's domineering attitude would translate into the bedroom. I don't think he needed to become a sweet, soft lover to achieve the kind of transformation that Bella was the catalyst for; I think everything outside of that was enough.Im hesitant to continue on... I don't know what to expect and if it's just more of this, I have read enough. while I like all the characters, I have read three books of these soft lovers and I may need to switch to something else for something a little more rough. This is just how I felt about it based on my expectations versus the reality. These books are more pure romance stories than most I've read and I might have to try the next one later on. I still gave it four stars because everything else was done beautifully and I enjoyed it.

Amazing

This series just keeps getting better with each new release.
The characters and story, just get better with time. Very hard to put this one down.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Z Man is the Bomb!

Great story and narrator. Zsadist is the epitome of a warrior who learns the real value of family and love. A must read in this series!
