Publisher's Summary

A Tragic Love Story

Charlotte Dennis's mission was clear: distract and misdirect CIA operative Ian Taggart by any means necessary. If she failed, she would never see her sister again. With her training, it should have been simple, but after one night in Ian's arms, she knew that saving her sister would mean losing the man of her dreams.

Ian was tracking a terrorist when he met the beautiful American daughter of a Russian mobster. His instincts told him Charlotte was trouble, but his body craved her like a drug and his heart would not be denied. She took his ring and his collar. For once he was truly happy. But as he closed in on his target, her betrayal cost him his mission while her sacrifice saved his life. As she died in his arms, Ian vowed he would never love again.

A Dangerous Reunion

For five years, Charlotte has thought of nothing but returning to her husband, her master. Working in the shadows, she has devoted herself to earning a chance to reclaim her place in Ian's life. But forgiveness isn't a part of Ian's vocabulary.

Nothing is more important to Ian Taggart than his new mission. But the information he needs is firmly in the hands of the woman who betrayed him. To catch his most dangerous prey, Ian will have to let Charlotte back into his life. As the hunt takes them to some of the world's most exotic locations, the danger grows and their passion reignites.

Will Ian forgive his wayward submissive...or lose her again?

I just have to roll my eyes and say 'really' when someone writes in a review that a fiction book was not realistic...come on now 'really'

"THIS ONE IS A MUST HAVE IN THE SERIES"

Lexi Blake has created the perfect series. You can feel the connection and comradely between all the characters. It's like you're in the room with them. They're all Dom's and Submissive's and their also x-military and x-CIA. Now they all work at a security company which also does side jobs for the CIA.

Yes...this book has detailed BDSM, action, mystery, suspense and fun. If you like this type of book you'll love this series. I have every book in the series and have listen to them several times.

Ryan West draws you in with his performance.

    Absolutely worth the credit/$$.

"Another Great One in the Series"

This was an excellent addition to the series. Ian is the ultimate Alpha male. Dominant, sexy and oh so lethal. The heroine may be a submissive to the hero but she's no push over, she can more than hold her own. I recommend all the books in this series.

    "Ian and Charlie"
What made the experience of listening to Love and Let Die the most enjoyable?

It is simply a great story made even better by the perfect narrator!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Oh, by far Ian is my favorite. Seeing the head of McKay -Tagart rediscover his one true love was magical. The bigger they are, the harder they fall for the woman they love.

What about Ryan West’s performance did you like?

He is just an excellent narrator. Easy on the ears.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    Just loved it.

    Any additional comments?

This is my very favorite book of the series. I've read every book in the series multiple times and listened to all that are available on Audible. I've loved Ian since book one. I'm glad he and Charlotte finally got their HEA.

"Another great listen in this series"
Would you consider the audio edition of Love and Let Die to be better than the print version?

Probably. I find the right narrator can really make the emotions come through more so than in a printed book

What other book might you compare Love and Let Die to and why?

Gabriel's INFERNO. In it, Gabriel is almost reborn by his lost love. Ian is as well by Charlie.

What about Ryan West’s performance did you like?

He is good but not my favourite narrator. Sebastion York or John Michael Morgan would have been a better choice

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I would not say extreme, but the ending did have me on the edge of my seat.

"Another winner...she just keeps getting better!"
What did you like most about Love and Let Die?

All of her books are great but with this series she just keeps raising the standard. If you read or listen from the start you will become more embroiled in the characters and their lives.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I have to love this big guy as he has so many hidden parts to his personality that he tries, unsuccessfully, to hide. He is the glue that provides the home and hearth that most of us crave, not that he would admit that, he likes to be seen as mean and caring but he is anything but. His character continues to develop from here on in with the series too.

What about Ryan West’s performance did you like?

He gives the character the grit that I always expected. I have all these as books but then got the audio version so I could listen and work. I do not regret the double financial aspect and can't wait for the next in the series.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Definitely.

    Any additional comments?

Lexi Blake is very talented and I love the depth of her characters. She had never disappointed me yet. Definitely worth your hard earned pennies! If you like this then look for the off shoots as they are also well worth your time and money.
