Publisher's summary

Melanie Crane has always been the perfect daughter, friend, student - she's been perfect at everything. But when she lets her insecurities get the best of her, she falters in her pursuit of perfection. Melanie crumples under the pressure and buries her pain. Numbed by sadness and guilt, she is determined never to let anyone find out how broken she really is. Bryan Mahoney may appear to have everything in order. He's charming, witty, and completely swoon-worthy. In short, Bryan has life all figured out, but appearances can be deceiving. When the landscape of Bryan's family changes in an instant, he's left to pick up the pieces. Not all bruises leave a mark. Now, weary and afraid, Melanie and Bryan must find a way to let love heal their broken and jaded hearts.

Contains mature themes.

Lots of silly assumptions in this story

I really had to persevere with this third part of the Love series.

I felt frustrated a lot of the time due to Melanie's inability to communicate with Bryan. She constantly jumped to conclusions and made assumptions that led to silly decisions.

Honesty would have move things along a lot faster and happier with this couple.

However, things did eventually come out in the wash.

Loved the story

If you could sum up Let Love Heal in three words, what would they be?

Love Heals Everything

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I loved watching Melanie come of her own in part to Bryan and his love for her, but more because she was finding herself as well. Bryan really just showed her that he was there for more than a friend and she finally allowed herself to feel him, too.

Any additional comments?

Melissa is a favorite author of mine and I love this cast of characters. I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series!!! <3

DNF

The story was cheesy and cliche and the narrator sounded way too old to be the young character's age.
