Loved it!

What made the experience of listening to Lead the most enjoyable?

The narrator was great as well as the storyline.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lena, loved her. She was funny and oh so patient with Jimmy. She was my favorite of all the girls.

Which character – as performed by Andi Arndt – was your favorite?

She did a great job with Lena and Jimmy.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Jimmy finally realized he loved Lena.

I read it... twice

Hot, Hot Hot....My favorite so far. Jimmy is my favorite brooding rock star and made me wish I was Lena. And thanks to Kylie Scott, I was for a short time.

Maybe a little slow at first, but heats up!

Once again the band Stage Drive and their women get together and have fun. I think Lena maybe one of my favorite female characters in the series. She's sassy and doesn't let Jimmy give her crap. She's also not a tiny model type,she has some meat on her bones and isn't afraid to eat! Once again we are treated to Mal's antics, I just had to laugh out loud again and again. This story starts off a little slow, but when it heats up, it really gets hot, that bathroom in Evelyn and Davids condo gets a good work out! Even though the hot sex doesn't start until later in the book, but you can feel the sexual tension all through the book which kept me warm, if you know what I mean!

Smoking Hot

Once again we get an inside view of the popular rock band Stage Dive. This time the lead singer, Jimmy Ferris with his grouchy disdainful personality is unleashed upon the reader. I have to laugh...he's so HOT...and Lena his sobriety companion gets a heaping dose of his narcissistic tendencies thrown at her as he helps her try to get over him...I don't think it is possible to get over this hunk!

The best one

Funny, great and fun. I laughed and laughed. Lena is fabulous.....pleasantly surprised. The best one of the first three.

Where does Lead rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is definitely one of my favorites. It's not going to win any literary awards, but it is not meant to! This is a fun book! A salacious read that will leave you begging for more! I can't wait for the next Kylie Scott book, I like this series more than 50 Shades of Gray.. it is truly a guilty pleasure!!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Lead?

There are so many moments that to name just one would not do the book justice. I love the ending of the book, the story wraps up and is tied together in a neat little bow! I love the way that each of these books ties into the next one, so I would recommend starting from book one "Lick", then "Play", to this one!

What does Andi Arndt bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Andi Arndt is AWESOME! There are some narrators that have it and some that don't and Andi definitely has a voice that lures you in and seduces you! Yes! She knows how to sell a story and make you LOVE it!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This was a fun read! It is meant to make you feel happy and sassy and sexy!

I love the feminine characters in Kylie Scott's books, they can hold their own and dish it out as much as they can take it! She is a master of fantasy and her stories hold a modern plot with twists and turns that delight your senses and leave you craving for more!

Oh Jimmy

I think this series could be one of my all time favorites. I have loved every book so far. I liked getting a look back at the brothers past and seeing a bit more of how Jimmy and David's mother treats them. Great to see the way Jimmy realizes how live feels and that people can live him. It is a good read.

Stage dive #3

What did you like best about this story?

I loved this book, I really didn't think I was going to like Jimmy based on the other books, but that wouldn't make a good book. Jimmy is that brooding guy, ex-addict, former womanizer- ya get the picture? Lena is a real tough cookie with a long history, oh never mind me that's a song. Yeah, she tough and sarcastic... Calls Jimmy out on all on all ok his crap!!! She can manage him better than anyone ever has!Of course thing eventually turn hot! When they get hot, they really get HOT! Jimmy does hot quite well! Thankfully this book didn't make me an emotional mess and thanks to Mel it had comic relief! I just didn't realize how funny he was! I hope to see more of him like this in the next book!!!

Andi Arndt did a wonderful job with this book!!!!

2nd time is just as awesome as the first!

I love Andi Arndt. The amount of emotion she gives to each character - it's amazing. Play was one of my first audible books and I became instantly hooked to Kylie Scott. I love her books as they are fantastic and brought to life even more with the voice of Andi. Thank you!

Kylie Scott can do no wrong! Andi Arndt as narrator is perfection. Third book in the Stage Dive series does not disappoint! One of my favorite reasons I enjoyed this series is, the ordinary woman is enough for a rock star! Kylie brings Jimmy to life as a damaged lovable man. He needs but is afraid to love. Hot damn one great love story!
