This series of short stories follows the women on Éveiller Drive. They all have their real life issues with their husbands, and as it does happen they lost their spark. What is a girl to do other than talk to their friends and formulate a plan on how to get that spark lit again. I think most women at one time or anther can relate to all the insecurities that these women face. The stories are short, but extremely steamy. This one follows Laura and Alan. They have been married for 14 years, and things has gotten a bit stale. Alan is tired of the same scheduled lackluster encounter. Can she let go of her control and let Alan have a spicy playful night?
N.Y. Times Bestselling Author
I loved Lara. I could relate to her in so many ways.
I like Laura. Hollie does an amazing job bringing all the characters to life.
I felt extremely empathetic to Alan. Sometimes you need a little spice in your marriage to keep it interesting after being together for a long time.
I absolutely love this series. I love how each couple has a specific problem, but you can relate to each couple in a different way.
One of my favorite of the series. Sometimes it is hard to find that spark between you and you significant other after so long. The motions of love making become almost robotic. Laura and Alan are no exception to that. After some of Laura's friends get together and come up with a plan, can she save her marriage? Listen and find out!
Laura is a woman who plans, so much that she even plans her intimate time with Alan. And that is getting old and stale for Alan. The thing I love most about these Éveiller Drive couples is they are all someone we can relate to. Laura and Alan are no exception. And it's interesting the things that you discover in an online chat.
With the Audbile version, Hollie once again did a fantastic job bring the story to life with her narration.
That Laura learned to give up a little control to make them both happy.
The field trip the ladies took! It was fun and entertaining. And made me wish I had good friends to lean on.
Hollie Jackson is never a disappointment!! I love listening to her narrate books she is one of the best!!!
Éveiller Drive brings heat back to the bedroom!!
I am Tammy Payne. I am an avid book reader and I also have a book blog :)
The narrator brings the story across greatly. It puts things in perspective. And it makes the story seem like your living it
The friend who ties and blindfolds Laura to the bed to surprise her husband.
She gets into the story. Each area of the story she brings laughter and seriousness when needed.
Yes it was I could listen to it many times
This is a story about a married couple who has lost that spontaneous in the bedroom and in their daily lives. Can they survive it and get back to how their life was before life and children? Fantastic short story.
I like the audio version because it puts voices to the characters from the book. It also depends on the person narrating the story. I happen to love Hollie Jackson's voices for the characters in all the books I've listened to her narrate so far. That is not always the case with other books and narrators. They don't always fit with my imagination of what the character is supposed to sound like.
I love these stories because they are true to life and these situations actually happen to a lot of married couples who can probably relate to the couples on Éveiller Drive.
Yes, I've listened to quite a few books by Melanie James that Hollie Jackson has narrated and I loved all of them! I hope she is the one narrating the rest of the books in this series! Another awesome read!
When Laura overcomes her issues to try to fulfill her husband's erotic fantasy!
