Naomi: When I was kidnapped, I thought only of survival. I gave my captors exactly what they wanted: my skill with computers. Making millions for a crime lord who kept me imprisoned in his basement compound kept my family safe. When he was taken out, I thought my ticket to freedom had arrived. Wrong. I traded one keeper for another. This time I'm in the hands of a scarred, dark, demanding Russian who happens to be the head of the Bratva, a Russian crime organization. He wants my brain and my body. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't intrigued, but I can't be a prisoner forever... no matter how good he makes me feel.
Vasily: At a young age, I was taught that a man without power is a puppet for all. I've clawed - and killed - my way to the top so that it is my heel on their necks. But to unify the fractured organization into an undefeatable machine, I need a technological genius to help me steal one particular artifact. That she is breathtaking, determined, and vulnerable is making her more dangerous than all of my enemies combined. Soon, I must choose between Naomi and Bratva law. But with every day that passes, this becomes a more impossible choice.

"A phenomenal book that sticks with you." (Sara Fawkes, New York Times best-selling author)
Always after books that read well in the tractor!
absolutely spectacular! I loved both story and narration. loved the accents. definitely recommend it to all !
I loved this book up to a certain scene which I could've done without. I've read where a character said ' I wish i could scrub my ears or scrub my mind with bleach" well that's what I felt like when I heard the scene in the book and you know when someone says don't look and you automatically look. well the scene suddenly popped out in my mind as it was described and I went into shock OMG...!! wish I knew that it was in the book I would've fast forwarded it!! Wish the author put out a warning..! wish the author didn't put it in her story line..!! I'm having second thoughts about keeping this one, I don't want to re-visit the scene!!
I am an avid reader, not a professional book reviewer. I gladly offer my opinion of the books I read/listen to.
I enjoyed this story so much three words cannot possibly do it justice. There were points when I literally laughed out loud and my family thought I was crazy!
The whole story was memorable. Two "special" people, a sociopath a high functioning autistic person found love.
There were so many scenes between the two, but I loved when he died her hair.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It is so worth a credit. It appealed to my heart, sense of humor and ticked all the boxes for a good, mindless listen!

At times, however, it was tired some. Similar scenes were repeated, especially de sex ones. Some times i fast forwarded. It was a good story. Just felt they were stretching it.

This is the best book in this series! Naomi is wonderful!! I have laughed out loud so many times, I just love it! I listened to this book twice and i have owned it for 2 weeks. I want the authors to write more stories about Naomi and Vasilly... they are just an awesome couple... her quirks are so funny and complement Vasilly so much. Shes not whiny like Daisy and Reagan... I just Love this character so much and wish more female lead characters would be like her... This book is definately worth a credit and the money... well priced.
The main characters are both so unusual that their coming together is shocking, yet it makes perfect sense. I think this book was the best yet and the duo did a fabulous job bringing attention to prominent issues this world has with unique individuals. Kudos to you both! Can't wait for more!
I absolutely recommend this book! This story had me crying, laughing, and swooning.
They were both great narrators. Accents were spot on.
I can't praise this story enough. It's my favorite in the series. The banter between Naomi and Vasiley was so entertaining. Their relationship was so hot, sweet and unique. I just loved their story and honestly did not want the story to end. Definitely will be listening to it again!
Funny, witty and dramatic. Very entertaining. Vashia had no idea what he was in for when he decided to kidnap Naomi, she proves that she is a formidable captive.
Naomi and Vasily play off of one another so well. Very funny and sexy and maybe the story lags a little towards the end but this happens in the first two books in the series as well. The characters are interesting enough to make up for that minor criticism. The women in this series are strong and funny and never portrayed as 'victims' which is why these books are such an enjoyable and entertaining listen.
