From New York Times best-selling author Kresley Cole comes this spellbinding story of a demon king trapped by an enchantress for her wanton purposes - and the scorching aftermath that follows when he turns the tables and claims her as his captive.
Sabine, Sorceress of Illusions: The evil beauty who surrenders her body, but not her heart.
Rydstrom Woede: The ruthless warrior who vows to keep her at all costs.
They were never supposed to want each other this much....
With each smoldering encounter, their shared hunger only increases. If they can defeat the sinister enemy that stands between them, will Sabine make the ultimate sacrifice for her demon? Or will the proud king lay down his crown and arms to save his sorceress?

No evidence of an ability to build a story, so probably not
Narration was fine

Sassy dialogue, humor, and a great reader are important to me.
you must love great dialogue that is funny, strong heroine's who do not give up to buy this series. the author uses great imagination for all of these stories. Each one is so different, but so good. I am still surprised!
Easily the narration. Not that I don't like ALL of his characterizations, but I really loved Robert Petkoff's voice for Rydstrom. I am a sucker for deep Brit accents. He could have read the entire thing in Rydstrom voice and I would have been in Heaven. Someone else once reviewed that you need to have lots of fresh panties around when you listen to this series. Girl was not lying!!!!
Totes as long as it's audio, being narrated by Robert Petkoff. I started this series on audio and can't even imagine enjoying it just in print. I'm in for the long haul with this author-narrator combo!
Ugh everything but again, Rydstrom. It's so hot I can't even listen through speakers. I have to use headphones only so that deep voice is right up on my eardrums.
Unfortunately not as much as I'd hoped. I was really looking forward to this story (the allusions to this story in the previous installment had me perked right up for this pairing) but for whatever reason I just wasn't feeling their connection or this pairing as much as I'd hoped. For sure it was still a solidly good and entertaining story but just didn't grab me as some of the others. But to be clear: I still prefer the Cole-Petkoff pairing to most of the other paranormal fantasy books I've listened to. Decent story with regular intervals of sexual tension? Why yes I'd love some.
It's crazy to me these books are only $10 for Audible members. They are SO SO much better than other similar stories I've listened to it boggles me they aren't more money. But then, that means I don't feel like I have to wait until my next credit comes before I get another one. So....well played Audible. Well played!
Really boring and ridiculous bondage type erotica using big, bad, boy (don't forget sexy) demons. Very unimaginative writing. What a waste of time. Couldn't be bothered finishing.
