Publisher's summary

Evie doesn't open her eyes so she can't see him, but she can smell him. He thickens the air she breathes, choking her with his scent... his aroma. She shivers. She has to resist. If she's not strong, then she will be relegated to the same fate as this predator whose sickness infects her even now. But now, she craves him and he knows that; he has been counting on her need to end the gnawing pain. How he would savor her surrender. She's alive, but how much longer will it take until she begs him not to be?

Like 'New Moon', But Slightly Better

Evie doesn't seem to have much faith in Reed and the other angels to be able to protect themselves. That's why she makes stupid decisions like making Russell run away with her, rather than talking it out with them. Surprise, surprise, it was only a matter of time before she gets captured. More people are used as fodder in order to lure her out. And so this is where Brennus and the Fellas step in. I'm not really sure why readers are rooting for this psycho king... I wanted more time with REED! The voicemail part had me in tears.

The narration is great, and Emily pulls off the Irish accents well. She was able to make each of the guys sound different with her Brogue. What I didn't care for was Russell's point of view. He's Evie's past. Reed is her present. She's not your girl anymore, so accept it!

There's so much happening that there's little time to think things through. Other friendly angels make an appearance: Phaedrus and Preben over at Dominion. Similar to Stephenie Meyer's "New Moon", our heroine is reunited with her love at the end. But the Gancanagh foreshadowing --t'is all just a taste of what's to come fer Genevieve!

Intuition bk 2 growing up

In book 2 Evie doesn't know who to trust. Her Russel, her BFF Freddy or Reed? As Evie's life takes on strange events, this book gives you insight into Russel and their love story.
We are also introduced to her newest male stalker Brennus an Irish Gancanagh. If he wasn't so stinky, he'd almost be boyfriend material....almost.
As Evie attempts to learn new things about herself and her life, she seems to earn more attention, and it's not always positive attention.
Emily Woo Zeller does an amazing job narrating this series giving each character a distinct personality, and landing the Gancanagh's Irish twang accent with ease and humor.

Really great story! If you love YA novel.

The story is really great. the narrator really gives a punch to the story and brings it all together really well. But like with a lot of YA books I found myself wanting more. But I love the story and I will continue listening.

Amazing

Can’t stop reading it!
I was dying for her to find Reed again. Hopefully the next book will bring more Reed on it.

Amazing story telling and narration!

This is the 2nd time I've listened to this series because it is so enjoyable and entertaining! The make believe creatures and languages are so well explained by the end you feel as if they are real and you can be a part of it.

good 2nd book but....

good second book but I'm getting a little tired of Evie making stupid decisions and waiting to be rescued all the time. she's supposed to be one of the most powerful Angel's, its time for her to stop acting like a damsel in distress and start being a kick ass woman. I'm gonna give the 3rd book a chance but I need to see her character be stronger than she has been.

unforgettable

I don't normally write reviews, but in the last it's 7 years I've been reading and listening to audio books , and because of that I've decided to go back to the ones that never left my memory and we're talking like over 900 ,so this is one that is unforgettable to me and and should get way more recognized than it has been! just as just a great story! you need to read all of the series,And Author really needs to write more....narration is good.

Good sequel

Any additional comments?

I just have to say that you get a little tired of the main character seeming weak and depressed. But I had to keep remind myself that shes only 18. Russell's voice is the one I am most disappointed in because I am country and I don't feel like she does a good job at his voice, but I guess it's hard. Still good story. I've listened to all the books. My favorite books series yet.

I really like it but....

I was completely in love with the characters because they remind me so much of everyone on Twilight. This is essentially the exact same story only with angels and other mythical creatures/beings. Of course there are different plot twists and the names are different but this is definitely fashioned after Twilight. Still a very good series and I will follow it to the end.
