When reserved flight attendant Bianca gets one look at billionaire hotel owner James Cavendish, she loses all of her hard-won composure. For a girl who can easily juggle a tray of champagne flutes at 35,000 feet in three inch heels, she finds herself shockingly weak-kneed from their first encounter. The normally unruffled Bianca can't seem to look away from his electrifying turquoise gaze. They hold a challenge, and a promise, that she finds impossible to resist, and she is a girl who is used to saying no and meaning it.
Bianca is accustomed to dealing with supermodels and movie stars in her job as a first class flight attendant, but James Cavendish puts them all to shame in the looks department. If only it were just his looks that she found so irresistible about the intimidating man, Bianca could have ignored his attentions. But what tempts her like never before is the dominant pull he seems to have over her from the moment they meet, and the promise of pleasure, and pain, that she reads in his eyes.

Sinfully attractive man oozing dominance like a cologne catches your attention across the plane. It causes you to stutter step and knocks you off your well rehearsed work.
Yes, this flight seems it will be harder to handle than others.
Then that strangers continues to appear on your flights...
Definitely makes it interesting, not to mention the kinky things he says he'd like to do to you...
Very interesting indeed!
Yes this book has sex. Yes this book has romance. But the story line was terrible and the narration annoying. I don't even want to finish the book.
This book started okay but quickly took similar story lines to other famous books. If you read Fifty Shades or any of the Cross Fire books, you have already read this book.
There is no character development or good drama. In every step of the story I already knew what was going to be happening next. I do have to say the narrator performance was well done.
So glad I got this book! It was truly wonderful, and the narrator was my favorite so far of all the books I've listened to.
I can't wait to get the rest of the books in this series and I will definitely be looking for other books narrated by Elizabeth Powers.
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher, in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.
Could not believe how hokey this was. Only a virgin who had never been kissed would think this was the least bit interesting. Quite tedious. Nice premise with the two friends, but aside from that it was very amateurish. I feel rather betrayed by my fellow readers and listeners for giving it such high ratings. I will no longer trust you!
I barely got through Chapter 4 before throwing in the towel. I had previously read as e-books and loved the entire Up in the Air series. BUT, I couldn't, just couldn't listen to anymore of the audio book. The narrator distracted me from the story instead of immersing me into the story.
I recommend reading the series instead of listening to it.
The narration was good, the sex scenes were hot... but the main male character was such a despicable person (controlling, jealous, rude, and then easily forgiven by the female lead) that it was hard to enjoy this book.
This has all the elements I like in the right portions
Lots of steamy hotness
Mile High and Deep Despair
Poor lovely innocent girl with a platonic male best friend. Her world is turned upside down when she meets a handsome, dominant, sadist billionaire. 50 Shades of Grey. But the writing is much better on this one.
