Publisher's summary

Even in Grundy, Alaska, its unusual to find a naked guy with a bear trap clamped to his ankle on your porch. But when said guy turns into a wolf, recent southern transplant Mo Wenstein has no difficulty identifying the problem. Her surly neighbor Cooper Graham, who has been openly critical of Mo's ability to adapt to life in Alaska, has trouble of his own. Werewolf trouble.

For Cooper, an Alpha in self-imposed exile from his dysfunctional pack, its love at first sniff when it comes to Mo. But Cooper has an even more pressing concern on his mind. Several people around Grundy have been the victims of wolf attacks, and since Cooper has no memory of what he gets up to while in werewolf form, hes worried that he might be the violent canine in question.

If a wolf cries wolf, it makes sense to listen, yet Mo is convinced that Cooper is not the culprit. Except if hes not responsible, then who is? And when a werewolf falls head over haunches in love with you, what are you supposed to do anyway? The rules of dating just got a whole lot more complicated.

Couldn't stop listening

Molly Harper, YOU ROCK!!! I have listened to each of her books numerous times, and LOVE each of them. I was afraid to start another series, because I just knew it could not be as good as the first. WRONG-O!

I LOVED this book! I laughed so hard at the Baby Beluga story, my husband hushed me! He will never understand.

Thank you, Molly, for giving a nod to our friends back in the Hollow, and I hope we have not heard our last out of Jane!

I know there is another book coming out very soon, and my finger is on the BUY button! As with all of Molly's books, I was let down when it was over, because I knew it would be some time before I could get another one. Excellent guilty pleasure book!!!

Cute and funny story with some mystery

I have to be honest...it was the title that caught my attention. It said to me "this could be a really cute story" and, for once, the title didn't let me down. I loved Molly Harper's dry, sarcastic sense of humor. Made me laugh out loud more than a few times. Even though it was based on fantasy, the story wasn't completely "out there", it was almost believable! I could actually put my feet in Mo's shoes and could imagine how she felt, could imagine being her. The mystery had me going until the end. I was wondering too, who could it be? The only problem I had was with the narration. I didn't mind Amanda Ronconi when she was just reading or speaking the female voices and she did ok with some of the male voices...it was her narration of Cooper's voice I didn't care for. To me, Cooper was a big brawny guy that should have had a deep comanding masculin and sexy voice. What I was hearing made me picture a short little whimpy guy that was maybe 120 lbs dripping wet...but that's just my opinion.

Funny......., Aahooo!

A great, funny book about a 29 year old girl, (Moe), who runs all the way to Alaska to get away from her overbearing, hippy mother.  The quaint town that she settles in is as cozy as a warm coat and the town folk characters are a perfect mix.

Shortly after her arrival she starts a steamy, love affair with the local, handsome werewolf, (Cooper). Things get complicated very quickly after several brutal wolf attacks, and instantly the quiet, little town of Grundy goes on high alert. When the locals launch an investigation into the bizarre mystery, members of Coopers pack start showing up which only adds more ripples to this who done it.

This a good, witty story that never lags.  The narrator does a great job and helped to make this a fun, light read that kept me laughing and interested throughout.

cute

Super cute and feel good. Great book for a road trip or, like me, a long night of tedious work.

Great story, fun and lighthearted

This story had me laughing out loud many times! More than flirting goes on, a little explicitly, but it was OK. Definitely not a children's story though. My only complaint was that most of "voices" used for men were practically a whisper, so I had to stop, back up, and listen again carefully because I'd missed something. However, the story is worth that little bit of trouble. None of the characters are very deep, and the story is fairly light, but it moves along steadily and kept me entertained from beginning to end. Highly recommended! I'm sure I'll listen to it a couple more times, and will try more Molly Harper books.

one of the best in a long time

I LOVED this book. It had me laughing so hard in places that I my husband didn't know what was happening to me. Such a fresh take on the whole experience of the supernatural, with wit and humor, as well as lusty scenes intermixed, that I was taken aback when I hadn't heard this author previously. I encountered the book by looking at the narrator's list of narrations since I really enjoyed another book she read for, so I will say that the narration is great, too. Since this book, I have read other Molly Harper books and have not been disappointed! Such fun! I recommend this book whole-heartedly!

Perfect balance between romance and humor

Would you listen to How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf again? Why?

I've listened to it again...and again. Amanda Ronconi's narration is perfect. Her comedic timing paired with Molly Harper's storytelling and humor makes this a definite 5 star read.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Moonflower aka Mo. She's a riot! Blunt and down to earth. Her relationship with her parents, especially her mother is the best. In addition, her care for the other characters in the book is endearing. As well as how she deals with Cooper, her love for La Perla, and her ability to make chocolate chess squares...of course.

Which scene was your favorite?

There are so many. But if I had to choose one, it would be the night of the

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed repeatedly...out loud. There were some sad moments, but none that made me openly bawl :)

Any additional comments?

Great, great listen. I wouldn't hesitate to add it to your collection.

One of my go to favorite books. It's a great, light hearted story with just enough seriousness and intrigue. Amanda Ronconi is amazing as ever and Molly Harper never disappoints.
