Publisher's summary

Even in Grundy, Alaska, its unusual to find a naked guy with a bear trap clamped to his ankle on your porch. But when said guy turns into a wolf, recent southern transplant Mo Wenstein has no difficulty identifying the problem. Her surly neighbor Cooper Graham, who has been openly critical of Mo's ability to adapt to life in Alaska, has trouble of his own. Werewolf trouble.

For Cooper, an Alpha in self-imposed exile from his dysfunctional pack, its love at first sniff when it comes to Mo. But Cooper has an even more pressing concern on his mind. Several people around Grundy have been the victims of wolf attacks, and since Cooper has no memory of what he gets up to while in werewolf form, hes worried that he might be the violent canine in question.

If a wolf cries wolf, it makes sense to listen, yet Mo is convinced that Cooper is not the culprit. Except if hes not responsible, then who is? And when a werewolf falls head over haunches in love with you, what are you supposed to do anyway? The rules of dating just got a whole lot more complicated.

Great story - Narrator needs work

I loved the story. It's well written, engaging, and comedic at times. The narrator was a good choice for the voice of Mo. The only qualm I have is the narrator's very dry and on the very edge of engaging. I slowed the speed down a little, which helped some. I feel that with some coaching to not just read the book, but to feel the characters would be most helpful. I was looking forward to the other books but I just can not listen to them if the narrator is the same.

The dynamic duo do it again

Anything Molly Harper writes is pure gold for me. And having Amanda narrate is the cherry on top. These two give me so much pleasure on my long drives to and from work.

I love Molly’s stories. They’re fun, full of humor and always feature one of my favorite tropes…found family.

She knows how to write humor, romance and action. I’ve listened to her entire ‘Mystic Bayou’ series and gave it all 5 stars and I look forward to listening to this series as well.

Beginning of another fun series

STORY (fantasy romance) - This series promises to be just as clever and cute as Molly's Half-Moon Hollow series, though the males will be werewolves instead of vampires. In this story, Mo moves to Alaska to escape her overprotective parents, gets a job cooking in a diner and meets sexy werewolf Cooper. Mo becomes involved with small-town life and, of course, Cooper. As the story progresses, she and others in Grundy, Alaska search for a wolf who has been killing tourists and townspeople. Could it be Cooper?

You will love this book -- the romance, the snarky banter between characters and the mystery element. Molly is the undisputed queen of this genre.

PERFORMANCE - Amanda Ronconi, as always, is the perfect pair for Molly's style of writing.

OVERALL - This is Book 1 of the series, but the story stands alone perfectly. There are a couple short sex scenes and a little cursing, but this is definitely a light, fun, easy listen. Highly recommended.

Funny.

Lots of dry humor, I have lots of bushmen in my family and the characters really came to life for me. This is the first one in the series of two.

Molly Harper's stories always have a twist

What did you love best about How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf?

It seems that Molly Harper can make me laugh out loud. With the absurd and strange relationships, and reactions of characters to situations. The things people say.

What did you like best about this story?

As usual Harper throws in some very strange circumstances Mo moves to this small town in Alaska. A transplant from the south. Really strange move.

What does Amanda Ronconi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

It seems Amanda Ronconi is great with Molly Harper books. I've herd her do several other series Paranormal "Screamers" and it to was great. She catches emotions and voices just wonderfully

Any additional comments?

Molly Harper has a way with comedy in all her stories. Whether paranormal or just a love story. She manages to put some unusual twists and turns into a story, and make you laugh out loud. I haven't listened to a bad Molly Harper book so far and I've listen to them all.

An utterly enthusiastically entertaining listen...

I was a little curious when this book showed up in my "We Thought You Might Like" list on audible, but I was intrigued by the title, so I bought it. Trust me, it's well worth the money (or the Credit!) This was one of the most beautifully described books I ever listened to. Molly Harper certainly has a way with imagery - Grundy, Alaska is painted so beautifully you'd almost swear you were there! And you couldn't ask for a better narrator than Amanda Ronconi. All in all, this is one of my favorite new books this year. Molly Harper is certainly in my favorite author list now!
