Publisher's summary

Even in Grundy, Alaska, its unusual to find a naked guy with a bear trap clamped to his ankle on your porch. But when said guy turns into a wolf, recent southern transplant Mo Wenstein has no difficulty identifying the problem. Her surly neighbor Cooper Graham, who has been openly critical of Mo's ability to adapt to life in Alaska, has trouble of his own. Werewolf trouble.

For Cooper, an Alpha in self-imposed exile from his dysfunctional pack, its love at first sniff when it comes to Mo. But Cooper has an even more pressing concern on his mind. Several people around Grundy have been the victims of wolf attacks, and since Cooper has no memory of what he gets up to while in werewolf form, hes worried that he might be the violent canine in question.

If a wolf cries wolf, it makes sense to listen, yet Mo is convinced that Cooper is not the culprit. Except if hes not responsible, then who is? And when a werewolf falls head over haunches in love with you, what are you supposed to do anyway? The rules of dating just got a whole lot more complicated.

LOL Funny!

Dave started listening to this first. He kept laughing out loud every few minutes so I knew I needed to find out what he was hearing. I found it as enjoyable as he did. As I got to the best parts I would stop and tell him where I was so he got to LOL twice for the same situations. Hilarious situations make the book a fast read. I will definitely keep this selection in mind as a book to lighten my mood when I am reading something heavy. Can't wait to listen to more by this author! Kathy

A Cute Fun Romp

Well written light novel. Narration was excellent. Entertaining and imaginative. The southern flavor enchanting. Something different and fun.

Loved it

I love the story line. The narration is good, the way she changed her voice for each character. I especially liked Evey and Abnor. I like the sex, and it's not overly sexual.

Less than perfect for the first time…

I’m pretty sure I’ve never given the combo of Molly Harper and Amanda Ronconi less than a perfect five stars. The story was ok, but maybe rushed at the end and light on the jokes… The narration was choppy with a lot of inserted edits that to someone who has listen to a lot of Amanda Ronconi what is like a blaring horn I completely made me forget what was going on. To everyone else I’m sure you won’t notice.

Besides that it’s a five star and a must get. But maybe not your first book of theirs.

Molly & Amanda - The perfect duo!

How do you explain Molly Harper’s Books?
A little fun, a little magic, and a little spice. Light-hearted but interesting enough to keep you “turning the page”. A great escape. A wonderful balance of childish whimsy and adulthood. Worth the credit!

One more time!!! Another GREAT book!!

Molly Harper is a wonderful writer with a sense of humor that is by far the best around!! I learned while listening to her first book, you can't be drinking anything while listening. I made that mistake and spewed soda out of my nose! I have all for books and can't wait for what she will come up with next. Her characters are "real" and full of life. I hope she continues with these characters as well as Jane and crew. I love how she worked Jane's book store into the book. Molly Harper can't write fast enough for me. If you want to laugh and have a great time, read Molly Harper's work!!

Couldn't stop listening

Molly Harper, YOU ROCK!!! I have listened to each of her books numerous times, and LOVE each of them. I was afraid to start another series, because I just knew it could not be as good as the first. WRONG-O!

I LOVED this book! I laughed so hard at the Baby Beluga story, my husband hushed me! He will never understand.

Thank you, Molly, for giving a nod to our friends back in the Hollow, and I hope we have not heard our last out of Jane!

I know there is another book coming out very soon, and my finger is on the BUY button! As with all of Molly's books, I was let down when it was over, because I knew it would be some time before I could get another one. Excellent guilty pleasure book!!!

Cute and funny story with some mystery

I have to be honest...it was the title that caught my attention. It said to me "this could be a really cute story" and, for once, the title didn't let me down. I loved Molly Harper's dry, sarcastic sense of humor. Made me laugh out loud more than a few times. Even though it was based on fantasy, the story wasn't completely "out there", it was almost believable! I could actually put my feet in Mo's shoes and could imagine how she felt, could imagine being her. The mystery had me going until the end. I was wondering too, who could it be? The only problem I had was with the narration. I didn't mind Amanda Ronconi when she was just reading or speaking the female voices and she did ok with some of the male voices...it was her narration of Cooper's voice I didn't care for. To me, Cooper was a big brawny guy that should have had a deep comanding masculin and sexy voice. What I was hearing made me picture a short little whimpy guy that was maybe 120 lbs dripping wet...but that's just my opinion.
