Publisher's summary

His Prairie Princess (Prairie Brides, Book One) is the first in a new series about the town of Clear Creek, Oregon. One of the wackiest little towns in the old west! Enjoy this introduction to the townspeople of Clear Creek and come sit a spell!

When Sadie Jones, the daughter of cattle baron Horatio Jones, set out on her own in search of her dying birth mother, she got more than she bargained for. She never dreamed the stage would be robbed and she herself taken along with the rest of the loot! After all, being kidnapped was the last thing on her mind that morning. Unfortunately it was the foremost thing that afternoon.

Harrison Cooke, raised by his English mother to be the perfect gentleman, simply went to get the mail, not rescue a damsel in distress! But here he was, attempting to rescue the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, and of course, not get them both killed in the process.

But both Harrison and Sadie have a goal. She's trying to rescue her mother. He's trying to save his brothers. That's a lot of rescuing going on. And in the midst of it all, can they rescue each other's hearts?

Sensational!

What a way to start a series Kit! Every woman dreams of being rescued by handsome man. If you love westerns and a good romance this is the book for you. Michael Rahal as narrator was a brilliant move! His voices describe each theater perfectly. Can't wait for my next audible book!!

His Prairie princess

This is a great book to listen to. It's about Harrison Cooke and Sadie. It starts back when they met and how they became a couple. They are in a lot of books later. All these books are great. Sadie was kidnapped and Harrison had to rescue her twice. There is plenty of action and adventure in the kidnapping and rescuing. Michael Rahhal did a great job narraiting this book. Regency meets Old West

A heroic Englishman rescues a cattle heiress. Both are instantly smitten, well she is, after she comes to. A self-righteous biddy, and ne'er-do-well step-brothers, a kindly doctor and his wife, and a town posse make for a lot of action!

The narrator was great, as usual! (Do I say that every time?)

Take me to Clear Creek!

Kit Morgan brings the past alive in this first story in the Prairie Brides series! Her words are magical, filled with humor and strong emotions that the narration of the amazing Michael Rahhal brings alive with his brilliant knack for voices! Sometimes it is hard to believe it is the same person!
Sadie is on a quest to find her real mother. But her journey took several surprising turns before she finally made it! She was on a stage that got held up and the bandits took her with them. Fortunately her knight in shining armour saved her before anything bad happened! And thus the romance of Harrison and Sadie but also a hugh lesson in compassion and acceptance along with several others! I adored every word and cannot wait to go visit Clear Creek again! Well I am off!

Unexpected Danger and Love!

The unexpected danger in the form of being kidnapped off the stagecoach. Sadie then finds herself to be in love with the man who rescued her from the outlaws.
This was a fun book to read/listen to! There are many heart touching moments as Sadie reunites with her birth mother.
Harrison is quite a gentlemanly hero.
The bumbling step-brothers, while dangerous are a bit funny.
I loved the scene before dinner and of course the rescue!

I like the story idea. But there is no much story there. Too little happens.

Sweet Love Story

This book made me smile more then once while following the building love between Sadie and Harrison . I even had to lol a few times at the missteps of the outlaw stepbrothers of Harrison. I'm sure you will too when you listen to this Wonderful sweet tell of finding love on the frontier. Sadie runs away from home in search of her mother whom she has never actually meet and when she finds her she also finds her true love . Actually her love finds and rescues her from his outlaw stepbrothers. He doesn't know at the time his stepbrothers are part of the outlaws that abducted Sadie from the stagecoach. All's well that ends well and when Sadie finds her true love in Harrison then that's a HEA worth listening to.
