BOOK THREE OF THE GALLAGHERS OF ARDMORE TRILOGY

Walk with #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts in the shadow of an ancient tower and hear a story of dreams fulfilled and wishes come true...

A wealthy businessman with Irish blood, Trevor Magee has come to Ardmore to build a theater - and to uncover the secrets hidden in his family’s past. He thought he had given up on love long ago, but Darcy Gallagher tempts him like no woman ever has. She’s gorgeous and intelligent, and she knows what she wants - and he’s more than willing to give it to her. Critic reviews

"Roberts is triumphant in realizing fully developed characters, as both Trevor and Darcy turn out to be vulnerable human beings with appealingly ordinary hopes and dreams." ( Publishers Weekly)

The worst of the trilogy

I LOVED this trilogy, well, I loved the first 2 books anyway. The problem is that I greatly dislike the 2 main characters of this book. They are both (especially Trevor) very difficult to root for. I I have an hour left in the book and will only finish it to finish off the series. At least we get some of the characters of the first 2 books in this one.

Heart of the Sea

Would you consider the audio edition of Heart of the Sea to be better than the print version?

I did not read the print version but I would assume so.. listening to a story about the Irish with someone reading it with the Irish accent adds to the story.

Any additional comments?

I was sad when the series was over, I loved listening to Irish having Irish background my self. Feeling like old friends who are now gone .

this book makes me tear up every time!

Everything about this series just really fills you with love and joy in the truest sense. I teared up more times than I can count and cried unabashedly. This was the first time I had listened to the series on Audible and I have to say that it really brought the story to a whole new level. I've read this series twice, and listened to it once. I loved it just as much this time as i did the first time I read The Gallaghers of Ardmore series.

Excellent finish for top Roberts trilogy

Fitting finish to this trilogy of the Gallaghers of Ardmore. We find out that Darcy does have the heart she hides behind her vocal intent to have riches.
This is one of, if not THE best of Roberts’ trilogies; with characters that you absolutely love and wish were your friends and family.
Daniels does a decent enough job of narration.

Great End to a Wonderful Trilogy

This book is the best out of the series. I was sad to have it end. The characters and story line was so well developed and came together beautifully.
This book kept me interested the entire time!

A great trilogy

Would you listen to Heart of the Sea again? Why?

I would listen to this story again - I would listen to the trilogy again. I've already started. I love the pictures of Ireland that they paint and it's folklore. I want to visit the places mentioned in the book. I want to sit in the new music hall and listen to the music.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Heart of the Sea?

The picture painted by the description of how the new Music Hall will blend with the old Tavern. It made me want to visit there.

Have you listened to any of Patricia Daniels’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've only heard her in this series, but she did an excellent job.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I didnt want to stop listening, but if I don't stop listening when I'm driving, I run out of storoes to listen to. For the second read, I listened while I sewed! :)
