This novel is the complete story of Sam and Maddie, but hearing The Billionaire's Obsession - The Complete Collection (Simon and Kara's story) first is highly recommended to enhance your listening pleasure.
Sam and Maddie are here!
Billionaire Sam Hudson has pretty much lived his life with no apologies because he tries never to do anything that he's sorry about…except for what he had done in the past to Dr. Madeline Reynolds. Many years and regrets later, Sam meets up with Maddie again by chance; his brother Simon is marrying Maddie's best friend and the two of them are forced to be civil. But Sam wants to be more than polite, and he wants another chance to make things right, so he offers Maddie a bold proposition, an offer he knows she'll have a very hard time declining even though she hates him.
Dr. Madeline Reynolds adores her best friend Kara and her fiance Simon, but being forced into the company of Sam Hudson, because they are both in Simon and Kara's wedding, is pure torture. She's hated Sam for years, but when he offers her a bargain, something near and dear to her heart, she's torn between her dislike for the man and the offer of something she's always desperately wanted. Once, Sam Hudson nearly destroyed her, but Maddie discovers that sometimes things aren't always what they appear to be. Is Sam really a devious heartbreaker, or is there something more to him beneath the surface?
Can two people with so many years of hurt between them learn to trust each other again?

I am addicted to audiobooks. It makes my 1 hour (each way) commute go by without me becoming an agressive driver. lol
I am hooked on this series. Heart of the Billionaire shows that money can't buy love. Maddie is a very intelligent woman, with a hurtful past and Sam has caused some of that hurt. However, he has suffered as well because of his actions. It just goes to show that if it was meant to be, it will be. Such a heartfelt love affair with some twists and turns. JS Scott has created an excellent series with individual stories that are interesting and exciting. Loved this book and this series.
Wonderfully erotic without being lude.
Loved every moment of this story.
Had me captivated throughout the entire storyline.
I felt every emotion that was expressed by the characters of this story.
If I had to rank it out of 1-10, I'd have to give it a 5.
I liked Sam. I love alpha males and he was strong when necessary yet pliant when called for
I did read the book and loved it. I liked the way Powers did the reading, except for Sam's voice. Unfortunately it was annoyingly droll and made it hard for me to want to listen to the story in long stretches
I loved it when Sam sends the first bouquet of roses with the note that reads "I'm sorry"
This is a good series. I've read the books and really liked all the main characters. Nothing is ever performed on screen or audio as good as what our own imagination can come up with. I do however, recommend listening to this series.
The story was so dumb!
The narrator was so sappy!
The entire book!
Save yourself and find anything else!
Very entertaining and want to continue listening to more. just when I thought I knew what was coming the story just gets better. the characters are great
This invigorating story lends hope to those who have had tragedy in their upbringing. Love will conquer all tragedy when you can trust another and open your heart.
I got to chapter 4 and got so bored I stopped listening. The story was predictable the characters were one-dimensional. I'm sorry I wasted a credit on this:(
The whole series is fantastic. I have read them all, I have them all in audio which is even better. You will read them over and over again. I am looking forward to next year now when Blakes story comes out.
Amazing look love the woman that reading it love the billions books well done xx
"When love and hate collide"
Yes, I really liked the way that it was different from Simon and Kara's story. Of course, the narration helped. Elizabeth Powers made it easy to lose myself in the story of these two sworn enemies.
First Simon and Kara, now Sam and Maddie. These two brothers had such a terrible past, it is a wonder hey turned out half decent. Sam and Maddie's history threatened to complicate things in Simon and Kara's story already, now, in their own story, the tension is palpable and yet, well, you read it and decide.
I have to admit, I did not see the complication named Max turn out the way it did.
I look forward to the next instalment of The Billionaire's Obsession series.
