Growing up, Jill Garrison never daydreamed about having the perfect wedding. Instead, she dreamt about having a baby. Boy or girl, it didn't matter. Unfortunately, her fiancé can't have children. Determined to realize her lifelong dream of having a baby, Jill spends years searching for a company (CryoCorp) that provides high-quality donor sperm.
Everything is right in Jill's world until her wedding day, when her fiancé leaves her at the altar to be humiliated before friends and family. She doesn't waste any time moving from New York City to California to start over. And she keeps her appointment with CryoCorp. She may never have the wedding or the husband, but nothing is going to stop her from having a baby. She's tired of everyone telling her what to do. The baby she's carrying is hers and hers alone. Nobody can take that away from her. Or can they?

Good book. Fun to listen. Excellent narator.
The main character. He is the man every woman dreams of.
I don't know.
I like this book. It's real fun to read it.
Easy to read. good book for a quiet evening.
Should have listened to the sample, my mistake. Really would have been mad if I had wasted a credit on this, got it on the cheap sale. The story itself wasn't so bad, predictable but sometimes I'm in the mood for a romance like this one. But the narration was so annoying I could hardly finish it. Every voice had some kind of gravelly note to it, and the voice of the little girl I could hardly stand at all. Will never listen to another book by this narrator. Too bad as the story itself was ok.
The story was cute...it just seemed like it was written by an amateur....The dialog was so cheesy and the characters didn't' seem real. I can't put my finger on it but it reminded me a lot of the stories on the fan-fiction sites or on other amateur writing sites.
The characters were unusual, likable and real and the Hero's family added a lot to the appeal.
I liked that Jill got a good deal in the end. I felt she deserved it.
Sorry but the performance was AWFUL. First narrator that nearly had me stop listening. Her Lexi voice grated on my nerves. She gets so shrill at times.
I had to force myself to finish, which is unusual. Especially when Lexi spoke.
Great Author but the Audiobook was ruined for me by the Narrator.
I would not purchase another book from this author.
The narrator was talented. It is not her fault that the story was so bad.
No, not at all.
This is the worst, unrealistic plot I have ever heard of. I cannot believe I made it through the whole thing.
Read A Book
Not only was the story very unoriginal, but the characters were annoying, and the reader was wrong for this book. I didn't like any of the characters. I wanted to like the book. The premise sounded interesting. It was just completely disappointing on so many levels.
Fortunately, I like the genre. I just know now not to select any other books by this author. I know that not all Romance novels are completely original, but this one was just too predictable from the very beginning. Plus, it was not well written.
I have listened to Sarah Drew perform other books, but those were Young Adult. Her voice fit well with those. However, with this book, she was out of her element. Grown men should not sound like whiny, 14 year old boys. I spent too much time being distracted by the performer.
No. The only reason I continued listening was because I paid for the book.
i enjoyed the both the printed version and voice.
the audio and the print is a good combination.
no i have a very good imagination.
