Fate is nice and all, but in the busy worlds of journalism and professional wrestling, sometimes a rabbit needs a hand, and a bear needs a place to grab.
Garnet Pendleton is a freelance journalist, and moonlighting as a librarian gets the bills paid, but barely. It's a busy life, but it's hers. Lately though, she's felt like something was...lacking. With her life absorbed in pounding pavement and wrestling with the Dewey decimal system, Garnet hasn't had time for something she's starting to get REALLY edgy over - finding a mate.
Stacy Graves's entire life has been lived in a ring. He's big, muscled up, and can bodyslam and headlock with the best of 'em. But he's also not getting any younger. Stacy's mind is starting to drift in the middle of matches. Instead of being worried about pinning his opponent, he can't stop thinking about settling down and finding himself a mate.
Will Garnet's journalistic drive for truth and Stacy's life on the road be too much of an obstacle for them to overcome in the name of love? With mating experts Yvette and Dora on the case, Garnet and Stacy just might stand a chance.

What can I say. It's one of the most adorable and funny stories I had the pleasure of listening to. I love everything about it. it too hilarious from start to finish.
I saw this book a while ago, but I had work to do so I held off. While scrolling through my wishlist I came upon this book thumbnail and my heart had the same pitter-pat reaction. That sealed the deal.
Stacy, a huge, mouthwatering, bear shifter isn't as charismatic with the ladies as most would think and is quite the nerd for a successful wrestler. He's feeling that mating urge and receives a tip about the Mating Call Dating Agency.
Garnet the librarian moon-shining journalist is hoping for a mate, but isn't interested in becoming anyone's constantly barefoot and pregnant spouse. She wants someone she can share an adventurous life with.
These two were meant for each other and I loved being able to experience their wishes, insecurities, hopes, longing and finally their first date.
I didn't know how Lynn Red was going to get all of the emotions I needed to feel satisfied by a full story in 2 hours and 38 minutes but she did and I am satisfied.
Pepper Laramie's timing was outstanding. I loved her voices and interpretation of Garnet's snarkiness. She made a already humorous book funnier.
not the genre but in this series if the same narrator
NO, not good at guy voices and they sound dorkie
i was excited to read another dating series. bummed out
Traveling therapist listening to AUDIBLE books while driving to far areas. Also host/produce radio show on KGLP 91.7 on staying positive!!
Short cute story about bear shifter (anglo) finding his mate (anglo) Nice story, no diversity with ANY characters. OK purchase. Great voice actor Pepper Laramoe
This is a great book; this is the first book in the Mating Call Dating Agency series by Lynn Red and narrated by Pepper Laramie. Garnet Pendleton is a freelance journalist and also works as a librarian. Garnet is also a rabbit shifter, and has realized that something is missing in her life, a mate. Stacy Graves is a bear shifter and a professional wrestler who is also ready to find a mate. The mating experts Yvette and Dora are on the case and think that Garnet and Stacy would make the perfect couple.
The narrator Pepper Laramie did a wonderful job, and was very easy to listen too. She did a great job with the different characters and their voices.
If you are looking for a great book then you need to read this book. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. Once I started listening to this book, I didn’t want to stop until the end.
