Hot romance/Sci Fi we're so lucky to have Audible to feed our book addictions. I love walking my precious dog Sydney & listening to my books
Lori Foster is an expert in drawing you into a story from the very first sentence. Like all of her wonderful books the story centres around a Charming protective and Sexy as Hell Alpha male. Rowdy is the ultimate in male perfection.....
Avery spends her nights working for tips… and trying to forget the secret Rowdy is determined to unearth. But when history threatens to repeat itself, Avery grows to rely on Rowdy’s protective presence. As the sparks between them ignite, she will be forced to choose between the security she’s finally found… and the passion she’s always wanted.
I would rank this book in my top 3! It has everything you look for in a love story. Hot sex, happiness, sadness, suspense, mystery and lots of love.
Everything!!! From the love story of Rowdy and Avery to the love story of the couples from the previous books( their friends and family). Also bringing in some new characters that added a lot to the story and should lead to other great books by Lori Foster.
When she went to his condo after the argument. She stood up to Rowdy and didn't back down. She got what she went there for!
The HOT linking of two lost souls.
Lori Foster did it again!! This book was Great!!! What more can I say?
First time listener, I thought I'd really like this author, but it was way to much sex ...so much to the extent that I had to start skipping the sex scenes to get through. If you take out some of the sex I would have given this a strong 4. The narrator was good.
Like the other series, it's a good book, and I liked the plot, but too much sex, I mean the same sex scene all the time, in all the series....two finger's.....once would have been enough, but I think Lori got carried away..
It was hard to follow the story and characters. The narrator's voice was somewhat monotone, without much inflection.
We, meaning Ms. Foster's fans, have been waiting a long time for Rowdy's story and I was very excited to see it finally appear. So-o-o-o disappointed. With all of the other stories there was so much more to keep one on the edge of their seat rather it be suspense, drama, chemistry between characters, or just waiting to see what happens next.
This was so predictable and yet unpredictable. Unpredictable because I kept waiting for the big drama, the "hold your breath" suspense and it never materialized.
I think that Rowdy and Avery's story was ok but I wouldn't say interesting.
Monotone, inflection-less, drab
I was hoping that with the introduction of a new character, i.e., Canon, that I would be looking forward to either his or Dash's story, but I'm not sure now.
I was so excited about this story that I kept looking at Lori Foster's website to see when "Getting Rowdy" would be coming out; I won't be doing that with the next books in this series and it is my hope that another male narrator, one more suited to changing his tones and inflection when appropriate would be chosen.
Sorry, Ms. Foster, this one just didn't do it for me. Also I would hope that whoever does the pairing of narrator to book would take into consideration the reputation of the author and her work before choosing a narrator that cannot enhance the dramatization of the story.
