BOUGHT THIS ON 2:1 SALE. BASED UPON OTHER BOOK, I'M NOT EVEN GOING TO WASTE MY TIME DOWNLOADING THIS BOOK. IN MY DEFENSE- I HAD THE FLU WHEN I BOUGHT IT AND WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MY ACTIONS.

One dimensional story

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No. There are so many good authors who write multidimensional stories that offer more humor and passion and emotion and even a bit of reality (well, it IS fiction). I hadn't read any of these previously but the reviews were good. I was disappointed first w/ the performance and then with the drawn out and very predictable text.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Add some dimension. Couple meets, couple EVENTUALLY spends a night together, one declares love, then harsh words that seem like reality vs. the pretend world they've lived in til the harsh words, then they both stop speaking to one another. Oh, and often the primary male and female character thinks to him/herself that the other is the most beautiful person in the world. Of course, cause at several hours in they've spent 48 hours together.

What didn’t you like about Eva Kaminsky’s performance?

Too monotone, inflections change slightly but not effectively, especially for the primary male character. I'd guess she's from a northern state as she has a way of sliding her words into the ....-er ending. To me it seems she reads but lacks emotion that would indicate she is a fan of the book or the characters.

Was From This Moment On worth the listening time?

No. I prefer unedited versions but it's clear that the edited version may be a bit better here. Too often I was wanting to hurry things along, ok, ok, we get it, she's the most beautiful woman in the world and you're lucky to be w/ her (true reflection of the words). I bought two of the series, #2 and #7 and at this point I can't bear the thought of listening to #7.

Sorry, I had to stop listening half way through this one and strike the others from the series that I had in my wish list. Where is the story??
