Very Good Story
I like the plot and chartacters. Strong men and women
When the men took the woman seriously about the dream without condensending remarks. I liked the team.
Went back to see if this writer had any more books as one of the other review did. She didn't. Would like to hear more of her work.
I liked this one in audio
Navy seals and a love story...
Nice voice. She's easy to listen to.
I like the instant connection.
This book was fast paced and kept me on the edge the whole time. I loved the whole paranormal angle…it works here. The chemistry between Zane and Beth was hot. She had trust issues but Zane did not give up. I hated when it ended because I wanted to listen about the whole seal team 7. Can not wait for the next book!!!
Shot in the crotch (so deserved)...have other moments but this tops my list.
Story is action packed, suspenseful, lots of twist...that's Navy Seal alright...totally recomended...cant wait for book 2 because there are so many loose ends that i want to find out about...other than this cliff hanger, loved it!
I've always been a avid reader so now I'm a avid listener. I prefer the paranormal genre but I do like to switch things up. It's boring if you don't have variety. Of course I do love the romance and the hotter the better. Also, you can't beat a good thriller filled with suspense and a ending you can't even guess at until the very end.
It has alot of characters in this book so I assume there may be more books coming from this one. I like the concept of the story, but I did not feel it. At times I felt more emotions from secondary characters than the main characters.
The two main characters just don't click for me. The book has some very good parts but I never got sold on the storyline.
Chemistry between the main characters.
Like I said, I love the storyline but for some reason I couldn't "feel" the relationships like I have in other books I've listened to. I would recommend something else.
the narrator did a nice job over all, but she needs to take a little longer pause between character point of view changes. when you are reading it on paper, you visually see the paragraph break or the bigger spacing. your mind is clued in to a pov and scene change. when she was reading it, there wasn't enough of a pause and therefore, it was a bit confusing at times.
While I have both read and listened to this book I have to say I enjoyed it more when I read it. The narrators voice is overly dramatic to the point where everything sounds like a breathy super slouth question. Reminds of those old spy movies with Dick Tracey or something. The story itself is great.
Say something about yourself!
This had everything you need in a romance book. Theres only one thing I would change and that is the timing. I would have liked the days to have been stretched out a little longer and more relationship build up between the 2. I know they are soul mates, but I didn't feel the love on Beths part. It was almost like just because they were soul mates the author left that getting to know eachother part out and rushed their love, not making it believeable to me. Beth pushed him away and then just gave in because they had a connection? I need more than that. I am looking forward to the next books in the series.
