Newly divorced and romantically pessimistic, Ian Pratchett doesn't know why he's been set up with Penny Parker. She's unrelentingly positive, utterly superstitious, and sexually inexperienced - everything Ian is not. But when sparks fly between them, Ian sees the possibility of a life he'd given up hoping for...with a woman he would never have expected.

Contains mature themes.

One of the worst narrators I’ve ever encountered. He can’t do a female voice to save his life. My romance books are 98% audiobooks so I’ll probably never actually read it. Thank goodness I started this the day before it left Audible Plus. DNF 30 min of 9:30 (Ch 2).

MMC Ian, 53, recently divorced. Scottish, but living in U.S. for the last 27 years.

FMC Penny, 22, from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Terrible narrator-I’ll have to read it instead.

I love Abigail Barnette and she did not disappoint in this story. I do hope that there is another book with Ian's pov because it was nice to have a male pic story.

Highly Recommend

The narrator is so bad. It’s making it difficult to keep listening. Which sucks because I think the story has real potential and I was excited to listen to it.

I’m really trying.

Abigail Barnette has written a wonderful story and her humor is delivered as needed perfectly by Antony Ferguson with such a romantic accent. The plot is good, I think the female lead could have had stronger lines to have made her a little more human but Mr. Ferguson carried all the characters well for the author. I've found a new author and will certainly buy more books by Ferguson.

Fabulous story!
