Publisher's summary

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Katie Reus, the first novella in her newest series! First Surrender launches The Serafina: Sin City series

He’s dangerous, sexy, and everything she wants…

Sierra hit it off with Hayden from the moment they met. The dangerously sexy, tattooed ex-SEAL is one of the best friends she’s ever had - and the main star in her wildest fantasies. But he doesn’t see her that way. And she’d die of embarrassment if he found out she was still a virgin.

And he’s about to make his claim…

Hayden’s struggled to keep his attraction to the beautiful, dark haired casino chef a secret. He’s not good enough for her. But when an attacker targets Sierra, Hayden’s protective instincts go into overdrive. With the attraction between them burning out of control, he’ll do whatever it takes to protect her and convince her they’re meant to be together.

REVIEW:
Novella’s always leave me wanting more and Katie Reus’ First Surrender is no different. I wanted more of Hayden & Sierra. These two have been tip toeing around each other for a year. Neither knowing how the other truly feels. But when Sierra is attacked at work Hayden realizes that life is short and now is his time to make a move.

That is all you get. Because this is a novella my review is short too. But I did love this novella and can’t wait to see what Katie has in store for us next.

The narrator took me a little getting use to, but after that I really enjoyed his reading

Enjoyable narration

This was a really good short story. Even though short, I still felt like I knew the characters and was the invested one what happened to them. Highly recommend!

Loved it!

Wishes it had been longer! It would have cool to have a longer back story for Hayden.

not very interesting

I didn't care about the characters or story. My mind wandered while listening so I'd go back a chapter. Then realize I drifted off again.

Usually I like the author but I think I'll skip the reset of this series.
