Look for E L James’s passionate new love story, The Mister, available now.

When unworldly student Anastasia Steele first encountered the driven and dazzling young entrepreneur Christian Grey it sparked a sensual affair that changed both of their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and, ultimately, repelled by Christian’s singular erotic tastes, Ana demands a deeper commitment. Determined to keep her, Christian agrees. Now, Ana and Christian have it all—love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of possibilities for their future. But Ana knows that loving her Fifty Shades will not be easy, and that being together will pose challenges that neither of them would anticipate.

Ana must somehow learn to share Christian’s opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own identity. And Christian must overcome his compulsion to control as he wrestles with the demons of a tormented past. Just when it seems that their strength together will eclipse any obstacle, misfortune, malice, and fate conspire to make Ana’s deepest fears turn to reality.

This book is intended for mature audiences.

I love this trilogy!

Becca Battoe did a phenomenal job portraying all of the different characters! You could tell in some spots she would forget what voice she was doing but for the most part she did very well!

The story really takes you on an emotional roller coaster! I’ve listened to this trilogy multiple times over the years and it still gets me! I’m always saddened when i reach the end of the series.

Thank you to E.L James for a wonderful story!

overplayed

less than a quarter way through this installment, I became thoroughly sick of the following overplayed references:
"oh my"
"confused"
"my poor 50"
"clamber out of bed"
"oh Christian"
"my sex"

virtually every reference cleverly applied in the first two novels is well overplayed by now and rather tiresome.
could have been so much richer with a greater attention to detail and unique descriptors.

and if I had to live through one more agonizing text exchange including two and subject etc I thought I was going to f-ing kill myself!

These books are great, I don't want it to end!

Any additional comments?

I am starting my second time through on this series. It still leaves me breathless. Such erotica but with a tender love story. Great ending (though I wish it would go on) with Christian finally happy. I would love to hear the whole story from Christian's point of view. The small excerpt we get tells a whole other story in a new and exciting way. This series is not only well written, but Becca Battoe did an amazing job! Her characters really came to life and I could see everything happening in my mind's eye. A truly amazing experience! I will read anything E. L. James writes.

50 Shades of F up!!

Spoilers......!!!!!
This one was good too I finally finished the book (listing to it on Audible). Bella expression of Teddy was so adorable lol, and I'm glad they finally got rid of Jack he was getting on my nerves I actually thought he might come out to be Christian Brother, but he wasn't. The hate and jealousy she definitely real when it comes to Jack and Christan and his family.

And I was so used to Anna calling her son Blimp lol, smh I'm like why she didn't name him that. LOL, but instead name him Theodore Raymond Grey aka Teddy instead SO acute (yes a-cute) lol. (baby is so acute) not the name lol.

"I want to see the little 'Blimp' awe lmao.

Gaps IN STORY! Bring back original Becca!

I have not read the book but there seems to be gaps and jumps in this recording. The book makes no sense in the end of Chapter 4 as she heads up deck then all of sudden without changing chapters she's in a dream?? I kept wondering why I felt like I was loosing parts of this book and maybe it's because the book is recorded out of order? Please review your narration of this book.

The original voice of Becca Batoe was fine with me, I do not like the slowed down version you created with the original version. The Men sound like they are uneducated and SLOW with their very low tones. It's very obvious the narration was not remastered but is equivalent to someone putting their finger on a record player to slow down the audio.

Otherwise I love the series just not the presentation this recording presents of it.
I would be very happy with the original recording. You should offer the option to at least enjoy the original version.

lifestyle of the rich and sexual

What made the experience of listening to Fifty Shades Freed the most enjoyable?

This book was a nice end to the series but it does have a bit to much of daily life. The most enjoyable part was the twist and the ending.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The heart racing car chase and the hiding in the parking lot is the best part for me.

great book

Would you consider the audio edition of Fifty Shades Freed to be better than the print version?

It is a close match up. This book is something that you can get carried away in if you are willing to let yourself.

Who was your favorite character and why?

It would have to be Anastasia. She is a complete character with very unexpected behavior and reactions at every turn. I LOVED her battles with her subconsciousness and her inner goddess!!

Have you listened to any of Becca Battoe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not but I would be interested in hearing them. She is very good.

Any additional comments?

This is such a great book, you can get carried away and really feel like you know the characters.
