Look for E L James’s passionate new love story, The Mister, available now.

When unworldly student Anastasia Steele first encountered the driven and dazzling young entrepreneur Christian Grey it sparked a sensual affair that changed both of their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and, ultimately, repelled by Christian’s singular erotic tastes, Ana demands a deeper commitment. Determined to keep her, Christian agrees. Now, Ana and Christian have it all—love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of possibilities for their future. But Ana knows that loving her Fifty Shades will not be easy, and that being together will pose challenges that neither of them would anticipate.

Ana must somehow learn to share Christian’s opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own identity. And Christian must overcome his compulsion to control as he wrestles with the demons of a tormented past. Just when it seems that their strength together will eclipse any obstacle, misfortune, malice, and fate conspire to make Ana’s deepest fears turn to reality.

This book is intended for mature audiences.

Finally

These books are not exactly good literature but the story is fun and the characters are well they are sexy.
Lots of phrases are over done for example 'where is he going with this?'

Predictable, and repetitive

Would you try another book from E. L. James and/or Becca Battoe?

Probably not...

Did Becca Battoe do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

The main characters were fairly well defined, but many of the minor characters were similar or indistinguishable.

Do you think Fifty Shades Freed needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No. I've had enough 50 shades

Any additional comments?

This series is very demeaning to women. In the sexual aspect I can see how it is freeing for many to read, and how some women are glad to hear their darker fantasies are not strange. However, the main character had very little backbone and it was hard to stomach at times. She went with the flow and very rarely stood up for herself, and what she wanted.

Best of the Trilogy

What did you love best about Fifty Shades Freed?

I thought the overall story line was really great. For books that are known for "mommy porn" I thought it was well written. I have actually read it twice. A very good read.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Anna. She is such a quite but strong character. She is well to give Christian what he needs but at the same time, not lose who she is in the process

What does Becca Battoe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I didn't read the books. No need to since Becca does such a wonderful job making it come alive in audio.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Anytime that Christian showed his weaker side.

I will not of course write anything negative. I love the series, Love the audio version of it. and can not wait for the movie to come out. Until then I will re read and listen to the audio book again. :)

What did you like best about this story?

I have not listened to anything else narrated by Becca Battoe.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Tons but I am not going to out myself ha.

the ending made me mad

I was upset at how she rushed the ending it was confusing going from Anastasia being pregnant just a few weeks too giving birth and now pregnant with a second child I really didn't like that ending.

Beautiful Capstone to 50 Shades

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, Yes. I have these on my ereader, listening is a welcome addition, complement to a great story. You hear things you don't always perceive while reading it.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Both Ana and Christian were my favorites. They both love with their entire heart and being...I admire that. Christian is enough of a man to admit it...even more admirable.

Which character – as performed by Becca Battoe – was your favorite?

Ana

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES and NO, I don't want it abridged so, thank you for full length, worth every word and nuance

Any additional comments?

I have few favorites that you want to listen to again and again. This is one. I will never forget this series or the impact of it.
