Look for E L James’s passionate new love story, The Mister, available now.

When unworldly student Anastasia Steele first encountered the driven and dazzling young entrepreneur Christian Grey it sparked a sensual affair that changed both of their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and, ultimately, repelled by Christian’s singular erotic tastes, Ana demands a deeper commitment. Determined to keep her, Christian agrees. Now, Ana and Christian have it all—love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of possibilities for their future. But Ana knows that loving her Fifty Shades will not be easy, and that being together will pose challenges that neither of them would anticipate.

Ana must somehow learn to share Christian’s opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own identity. And Christian must overcome his compulsion to control as he wrestles with the demons of a tormented past. Just when it seems that their strength together will eclipse any obstacle, misfortune, malice, and fate conspire to make Ana’s deepest fears turn to reality.

This book is intended for mature audiences.

Finally

What made the experience of listening to Fifty Shades Freed the most enjoyable?

This book seemed to have more of a story line to bring everything together.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fifty Shades Freed?

The honeymoon.

Which character – as performed by Becca Battoe – was your favorite?

Ana

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I did, but I felt the ending seemed rushed and another book could have probably made it better.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book in the series. I had trouble putting it down. I was very attached to the main characters. It gave their whole story much more depth.

great listen

I read all three book in the series and couldn't bare the thought of loosing the characters. At first I wasn't convinced that Becca Battoe was Ana, but by the end of the first book she was Ana through and through. This was a great series that I would recommend to anyone. Don't believe all the negative stuff you might hear about this series. Its really an epic love story, with a broken man and a women who pulls him into the light. Very hot sexy love scenes, with a great love story.

Not a bad story, too much sex

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Sure, the story is good, not great, but it is interrupted entirely too much by the constant sex. I like a good sex interruption in a story as much as the next woman but this was more like the story line interrupted the sex. Okay we get it the couple are sexually compatible and the like sex any which way.

If you’ve listened to books by E. L. James before, how does this one compare?

I only listened to the three books in this series. They were all basically the same.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Becca Battoe?

She was okay though I did feel her voice was a bit whinny.

Was Fifty Shades Freed worth the listening time?

As it was the last book in a series I needed the closure.

Any additional comments?

E.L. James, the sex interludes you wrote were good, there is just way to many of them in the books.

Performance

Should have a male voice to read with the narrator as having her just lower her voice is really cheesy and really distracts from the story
