Shallow story, but good study of human relations

Constant emails were a bore. Anna was a good role model of how to handle difficult people . Her naivete was troublesome but to be expected for a girl her age. Fringe sexual activities were straight out of a sex store. Ended on a note that good can conquer over bad. Entertaining Fairytale overall.

More sensuality and Christian - yum

Becca really goes beyond my expectations for a narrator. I feel the emotions and desire that pours through Anastasia. It's awesome. Onto the next book (3rd round).

It is difficult to listen to this reader

What did you like best about Fifty Shades Darker? What did you like least?

Interesting story about a weak woman

Would you ever listen to anything by E. L. James again?

Probably not

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Becca Battoe?

Not sure. Some of the readers of Lisa Scottalini (spelling?) are much better. She sounds like a 13 year old and her imitations of men and other women are terrible.

Was Fifty Shades Darker worth the listening time?

No. The printed version is much better.

Gotta listen after Fifty Shades .....wow

Would you listen to Fifty Shades Darker again? Why?

I have not quite figured that out. Listening for the third time. However, it is very soothing the THIRD time!!!!!

What did you like best about this story?

OMG The Sex!!!! Her voice is very smooth and she never misses a word. Emotions, in good taste and she makes it real!!

What didn’t you like about Becca Battoe’s performance?

There was nothing I didn't like.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The whole book moved me. A reader must listen to Fifty Shades Darker after Fifty Shades, otherwise they can not appreciate the story. It is a must. So sad if you stop at Fifty Shades and fail to listen to Fiffty Shades Darker!!

Any additional comments?

One of the best listens-EVER

Enjoyable

Would you consider the audio edition of Fifty Shades Darker to be better than the print version?

I do enjoy most all audio editions of the books I read more so than print editions.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Christian Gray, I liked learning more about his character. More than just his sexual side.

What does Becca Battoe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Becca Battoe does a great job with all the characters.
