Sex Sex and more Sex

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I enjoyed most of the book. But got really bored from all the input about the back and fourth email from the two main characters. And I said OMG. a lot threw out the story.

It's What You'd Expect [Spoilers]

The a narrator is not great at all, which can get annoying for a 20 hour book. The story overall is meh but is entertaining enough. The only unbelievable portion is how they end up engaged and barely know each other. In this case, the movies are better.

Love the book

Always loved the book, but it was hard to get used to the narrators voice. I really didn't care for her voice. It seems annoying and unmoving to the story. It made me laugh and disconnect from the story whenever she tried to do another characters voice with the story. For this, I probably won't purchase "Freed".

Fifty Shades Deeper

Would you listen to Fifty Shades Darker again? Why?

Yes I would. This book delved into the main characters, and I got to learn what made them tick and why.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love both the main characters in this book equally for the same reason. In this book you get to see both Anna and Christian start to break out of their very hard and well placed shells. You get them see start to "heal" each other in a sense.

What does Becca Battoe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Becca is really good at bringing the charcaters to life in the way she narrates the stroy. As she was narrating I was able to really take the time to create the pictures and scenes in my head which is something I don't do much when reading myself, because my mind begins to wonder and I end up having to reread a page or sometimes a whole chapter.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I could have listened to it all in one setting for sure, but I purposefully stretched it out as long as I could, so I would be able to enjoy it for several days and not just one.

Any additional comments?

Loved loved loved this book! Looking forward to starting the thrid and final book in the Fifty Shades Trilogy.

Narrator is bad. Story is awesome.

I read the story a long time ago. I just listened to Grey and I really needed my 50 Shades fix. I would so listen to Grey again totally liked the narrator but this narrator for this book is just horrible. Read the story first and then if you must you can listen to it but be warned if you listen first this narrator will turn you off.

Yes that is what I am talking about

Where does Fifty Shades Darker rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is the number one series that I have ever listen to.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Christian & Ana is because they remind in so many ways of my furture husband & I. As well it gave us many ideas to continue to make the bedroom little more exciting. How they love for one another is so powerful that regardless what issues he has is still loves him for who he is and letting him change hisself instead of her trying to change him. She willing to work on the issues that they haveinstead of running from it. Not letting people opinion of him discourage them from their relationship. I can go on and on but I recommend everyone to read this book series.

Which character – as performed by Becca Battoe – was your favorite?

Kate/taylor/christian's sister

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I listen it to all book by myself and my furture husband is reading it.
