They rekindle their searing, sensual affair, and Anastasia learns more about the harrowing past of her damaged, driven, and demanding Fifty Shades.

Exciting Sexy Captivating
Christian and his dark co dependant needs...
Shocked is a better description to some of the sexual content
Narrator is fine, the book left me flat.
Total disappointment is what I felt after reading this book.
I really don't understand how this book became a sensation. Fifty Shades fell flat on so many levels I really wish I could have my credits back.
The sex in this book is not enough to warrant all the hype about the novel. This is one of the most poorly written books I have ever listened to or read. It reads like something a high school student might write wishing to shock the reader! I wish I had started counting the "oh my", "holy s*#%" and "holy f@#*" comments just to satisfy my curiosity as to how much these "literary" phrases were used! Not only was the writing sophomoric, it was clearly written by a much older person. The main characters engage in email conversations (complete with the headers and salutations read out completely - really?) People who graduated from college in 2011, as the main character did, DO NOT have conversations through email - they text! Also, I don't think there is a recent college graduate on the planet that went through four years of college without their own computer - please! This author is clearly way out of touch. Even the sex could have been more imaginative.
I thought the performance was very poor. The narrator made Anna sound like a Valley Girl ditz. The narration was so slow it drove me crazy at first. Then I discovered that with my new Andriod app, you can adjust the speed. I turned it up to 1.5 and it actually sounded normal!
At the top or very close
Christian.......He was a loss soul
I didn't like narrator's male voice
I loved all three books........Read each by book form and then the audiobooks.
Read the book if you have the chance as this narrator is terrible! I downloaded the audiobook and stopped after 5 minutes and ran out to the story to get the hard copy because I couldn't stand listening to the narrator's "performance" - hopefully they find another narrator.
Save yourself frustration and READ this book instead of suffering through this horrible
Her reading is stilted, choppy and juvenile.
I would recommend the book. It was a great read...very intriguing.
Zane books - many of them.
Hated the narration - I just couldn't get into the changing voices of the woman...trying to sound like a man. It didn't work for me at all, as a matter of fact it almost turned me completely off of audio books. I could have been expecting too much but I expected each character to have their own voice. It was very difficut for me to get past the woman...very difficult.
No. It definitely COULD have been if performed by someone else.
Anyone! She way overacted.
Yes - Truly enjoyed the series - I read all three before i listned to them,- Glad I did because the narrator for this seris was not good
A Narrator who reads with passion
Yes & No
E L James Yes, Becca Battoe No.
If the narrator actually participated in the book, such as change of voice when doing male vs female, and scene changes. Every time I listen to this book I found myself falling asleep. I thought it was just me, but after 3 different people tried we all agree that it was the narrator.
to the book per say ( I had read the books prior) I had no issue. the Narrator was a disappointment.
