Very Good!

I really liked this book! I am partial to the Cat and Bones storyline, but I really enjoyed getting to know the other characters. The ending was rather abrupt, which I didn't really care for, but other than that I loved this book. I am anxiously awaiting ANY books that Jeaniene Frost writes! I am hoping that Vlad will the next character she focus on for the Night Huntress World Series.

More action would have been nice.. but over all i can't complain. I've always been in love with Mencheress's patience and selflessness. He's so sweet....

Listen again!!! Really great story. Finally, Manchares' story gets told.

Other Frost Books or Dianne Duvall.

Have you listened to any of Tavia Gilbert’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes. Really enjoy her narration. She has done all of the Bones/Cat books. She sounds completely different in this series or even Vlad. Well Done!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Adrenaline! Fast Paced! Both, my hubs and I, love this author! Always the perfect balance of action, suspense, and romance for both of us to enjoy.

This is one of my favorite Frost books. Love both of the main characters. Nothing beats a powerful heroine to save the day!

She did it again!

If you've enjoyed you way through the Night Huntress series and are jonesing for a Jeaniene Frost fix, this is the book for you. Thy dynamic between Kira and Mencheres is completely different from the one between Cat and Bones, but it is still charged. Like the other books, Frost keeps the pace high and exciting

It helps if you have read Frost's other books, but it's not necessary. She gives enough background for you to still be able to keep up with the story line.

I can't wait for the next one. Buy it!

Loved it

Loved loved the characters especially menacrea not sure if I spelled it right. Very powerful characters. One out to commit suicide and another trying to steal some more power from the one suicidal man. But his plans don’t turn out right and of course gives him reason to fight for. I honestly recommend this book.

I just LOVED it - did not want it to end! The narrator is great! She makes the story come alive!

I love the romance, suspense, and the very desirable spade.

I liked that spade is such a traditional guy when it comes to chivalry

I love her voices and accents

Great Book!

This was a great story. Loved all the characters and the story line. Its a great vampire book. I totally recommend this book as well as the first book in the NIght Huntress World, First Drop of Crimson. I read this book before I read the Night Huntress Series with Cat and Bones. Then of course i moved on to that series and it was fantastic as well.


The narrator is my very very favorite.I love Tavia Gilbert. She is amazing in all her narrations.

I love the characters and how well they are played out by the woman who read the book. There was a great plot-if you like the vampire thing:)

Kierra was amazing! Wonderful woman, so innocent...I can't write too much so i dont give it away, but she is brave and just so wonderful!

This 2nd book in the series was really great, all the way through. The first book had a rough start, but then it was addicting!

Must read/listen. Tavia Gilbert did a fabulous job narrating the book! You can tell each charactor apart....I was really impressed with this listen! I would DEFINETELY recommend any good book narrated by Tavia Gilbert. She just makes the story alive!

a great book for the night huntress world series.

Jeanine Frost made another slam dunk novel. I have really enjoyed this one and I appreciated the backstory of Mankaries. Any fan of Jeannine Frost would love this book as well.
