Publisher's summary

His father unknown, his mother dead, Nicholas Roman was raised by the vampire Breed with one wish: to live as a normal vampire. But once he's transformed against his will into a gifted immortal, Nicholas now has one goal: to stop the Eternal Order of vampires from controlling his life and from transforming more males from his bloodline for their vicious reign. Then comes a beautiful stranger with a startling secret....

Vampire Kate Everborne claims she's sheltering Nicholas's long-lost son. If this is true, then who is the mother? And how endangered are they if, indeed, Nicholas does possess the bloodline so coveted by the Order? These are questions that with every seductive whisper, every silken touch, draw Nicholas and Kate intimately closer and nearer still to the truth. But aroused too are Nicholas's fears that this tantalizing woman has even more secrets - both dangerous and provocative - she has yet to share.

Love in vein: listen to another Mark of the Vampire title.

Critic reviews

"Gentle emotions are not for the Roman brothers, as their destined mates are fated to learn. Complex and riveting!" (Romantic Times)

Good characters, weak execution

What would have made Eternal Kiss better?

There were some weak areas, wholes. There were too many sex scenes verses battles and support for relationships. The sex scenes were crude. They could have been just as hot without all the C words. Rule of thumb leave out any words beginning with C. In stead of the sex being a part of the story you just want to get through it, and on with the story.

What could Laura Wright have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

The characters were interesting, but undeveloped. Some of it was corny. You want the emotional happy ending but...... She should read Jeanine Frost for how to handle the sex scenes. Main improvement would be that all the characters needed more self talk about situations and how they felt about the situations and relationships. More elaboration about each persons personality and why they are like they are.

Which character – as performed by Tavia Gilbert – was your favorite?

Tavia was great!!! She is what made me finish the story. She did all the characters excellent!

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Eternal Kiss?

I would have cut out some of the sex scenes, like the one in the bar. A virgin's first sex by someone who cares about her in a bar, I don't think so.

Any additional comments?

There is a great deal of room for humor. When talking about a child having to be a whore to support his mother, no one wants to here details of the execution.

Trashy graphic romance. Too much foul language

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Clean up the trash talk. No need to hear the f word 29 times every minute

Has Eternal Kiss turned you off from other books in this genre?

Picked another book to perform
