The worldwide phenomenon continues as Eva and Gideon face the demons of their pasts and accept the consequences of their obsessive desires.... From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I also saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside - so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat. No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.
Entwined by our secrets, we tried to defy the odds. We made our own rules and surrendered completely to the exquisite power of possession....

“A steamy read that will have you furiously flipping pages.” (Glamour)
“A highly charged story that flows and hits the mark.” (Kirkus Reviews)
I would have enjoyed this book if Day had of finished the story. As it is she wrote half a book and put it on the shelf for sale. I guess there will be a 4th book in the trilogy now.
It made me angry that she took my money and did not finish the story. I feel like she just wants to make money.
I will not buy another book to find out the ending I was promised in this one.
Love reading! Always have, glad my friend turn me on to audible. Love romance and mystery books
I can not be Sylvia Day ended the book this way! She repeated stuff that we learned in the other two books and she's dragging this out already. I am so t'ed off right no I don't know what to do. I see why it's gotten so many bad reviews!
This book lacked the spark that was very evident in the first book.
And what is it with authors at the moment - stories never end - they just hang there.
I thought this series was marketed as a trilogy!
No I don't think I will.
Usually I really enjoy Jill Redfield's narration - but not with this book. Though to be fair to her - the quality of the material she was working with was poor.
I was annoyed that I had wasted time waiting for this book.
I love the first two books and couldn't wait for the 3rd, it turns out to be a big disappointment! Not well organized and way too much drama without any conclusion.
I felt there was no storyline, and I expected to have a good ending, not to wait for another book to come out. I was so excited for this book to come out and end up very unhappy and disappointed.
SAVE YOUR CREDIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jill is the perfect narrator for this book for me. I love the timber of her voice and I could listen to her read the phone book! I have not read the printed version...so I can't speak to that.
In my opinion, Sylvia should have kept this story as a trilogy as was originally planned. This book didn't really add anything to the overall story that couldn't have been shortened and put in a final book. The other thing I would have changed was to have left out at least one or two of the additional stumbling blocks she threw up between Gideon and Ava. No couple could be THAT unlucky. After awhile, it got to be ridiculous. They need a break in between catastrophes!
No...as usual with these characters, I need to take it in small chunks. This series touched something in me. I am emotional about the characters...and when really bad things happen, I have to turn off the ipod and give it a rest before I can go back and pick it up again.
I have to say that Ava bugged me in this book. I felt that at the end of Reflected in You, Ava was more mature and less needy and impulsive. She took a giant step backwards for me in this book...her reactions to Brett really pushed some buttons for me and not in a good way. She seemed to jump all over the place in this book...sometimes level headed, sometimes ditzy or bitchy for no reason. Then when there seemed to be a reason to be bitchy, she backed off. I wish her character could sustain a level of maturity...it sometimes makes me feel bad for Gideon that she isn't the strong level-headed kick-ass wife he needs. But I will surely be back for the next installment in this story. I'm addicted to Gideon just as badly as Ava is!
I loved the first 2 books but this third one is just soo disappointing for me. I had so much expectation and it just fizzled.. It was such a blah story for me. No substance like the first two.... In saying that, I will still buy the next book just to see where she takes it and if she can actually make it better... Well I guess it cant really get any worse.. Sorry!!
The best thing about this book was Jill Redfeld’s excellent narration. Otherwise do not bother with this book.
No, it is a lot of repetitive fluff and very little new material.
She does a great job with all of the characters.
I was very disappointed with this book. There was very little new plot. I feel cheated by the author (especially at the end when informed there would be two more books and not a final ending as was stated). The author had too much filler with repetitive information from the first two books and too many repetitive sex scenes. It is obvious to me that that the motivation was to make more money with this series. The best thing about this book was Jill Redfeld’s excellent narration.
An actual plot or storyline. This book does not stand alone like the first two. Nothing worth reading happened.
Actually finished the series as promised instead of writing this filler book with no substance. Just more character background.
Some of the over abundance of sex scenes! And maybe replace them with a resolution to the main storyline of Eva and Gideon.
The ending just STOPS.
I love the story that why we all follow the now Crossfire series.
She's great. I have started listening to other books narrated by her.
This is a crazy question because 2 other books now have been added to the "Crossfire Trilogy", I mean now Crossfire series.
Okay, I understand that now SD has to develop the subplots due to the Liongate Crossfire TV series. Everyone had a long wait for this book and now we may have to wait another 6-8 months for the 4th book when this was supposed to be a trilogy. That’s frustrating. Other SD books are not being release by Penguins/Berkley because of the Crossfire series. I honestly do not want to read any other books by her until all the books are out. We all the negative comments hopefully Penguins/Berkley will establish better release dates.
"What can I say? I love Gideon!"
I guess you have to be a fan of the crossfire books to have got to the third book. I enjoyed the 'tying up of loose ends' of this one. Gideon and Eva are as hot as ever!
Unfortunately this third book does not live up to its predecessors which were brilliant, I couldn't wait for this book to be released and have been seriously disappointed. No content, very thin story line. What can I say.....
"Entwined with you"
Continued nicely following on from the last book of the up's & down's of jealousy, suspense & of cause passion. Keeping you gripped & wonting more the book seem's so short.
I loved the first 2 books and couldn't wait to hear the next installment but was very disappointed in this book. There seemed to be alot of dead ends. A lot of the questions that I had from book 1 and 2 were still left unanswered at the end of this book. I feel that Sylvia Day is just trying to drag the readers along to the 4th installment. The narrating was fine as with the other 2. Not sure if I will be getting the 4th installment as I have lost the love for these characters which is a great shame as a previously stated i very much enjoyed the first 2 books.
"Love Sylvia Day"
I love the crossfire series. i was eagerly waiting this book. It didnt dissapoint. Looking forward to the 4th Installment.
"OMG !!! Steamy"
I had been waiting this book to come out for months. I had pre-order and had been waiting to download like an insane person :))) I was hooked! Yeap.... and it was worth the wait. I was smitten, in love and completely crazy about Gideon and Eva....
Well done Silvia... You promised and you delivered a great sequence. This book takes off right where the second book ends and there are no long time gaps in between. The storyline develops but it doens't rush this time. I have noticed a slower pace and I guess it's because there are two more books in the pipeline.
I saw a great love story in this one, with no great insecurities between the characters. If you decide to get this book you will be surprised by a couple of extra steamy scenes which totally surprised me... I wasn't expecting that at all.
I found the book a bit short though. I was expecting something like the previous ones but I can't give a bad critit because of that. It just makes the anticipation even more greater for the next one to come out. There are a lot of things which we don't know about Gideon, a lot of secrets which need to come out about his family and of course we have TWO murders which are unresolved ..... So I guess Silvia knows how to keep us entertained!
"entwined with you"
now we are gowing to have to wait for book 4 not good but bid love the book
"I want more!!!!!"
I've absolutely loved this!!! Just sad I've finished it so quickly... Not quite sure what to do with myself now. This trilogy knocks spots of the other well known trilogy!! I don't want to give anything away so I'll just say grab yourself a glass of wine - and some batteries!! A real steamy read that takes you there...
Kudos to the author!
