Publisher's summary

Miranda Puckett has failed at every job she’s ever had. Her mother just wants her to come home, join the family law firm, and settle down with Jason, the perfect lawyer boyfriend. But when Jason turns out to be a lying cheater, Miranda seizes on a job that gets her out of town: long-distance vampire transportation.

Her first assignment is to drive vampire Collin Sutherland from Washington to sleepy Half Moon Hollow without incident—no small feat for a woman whom trouble seems to follow like a faithful hound dog! And she has to do it without letting her passenger—the most persnickety, stuffy, devastatingly handsome vamp she’s ever met—drive her crazy. As she and Collin find disaster on the roads, they also find an undeniable spark between them. Could Miranda have found the perfect job and the perfect guy for her?

A definate must have in library.

It kept me listening and laughing all the way through.
I really enjoy Molly's sense of humor in her writing.
Decent vampire story but mainly a comedy in my opinion.

Entertaining klutzy girl story

Once again Harper and Ronconi weave a cute slightly steamy tale with a touch of supernatural.
Their talents making you feel like your best friend is giving you her 'how I met the loce pf my life' story. The female character does some slightly silly stuff, and also fails to react at the end to some information the male character couldn't possibly have known. Seemed like a missed opportunity for a final chuckel. Character felt like Jane from an earlier book, and author a acknowledges this by having a character say they need to meet.

Vampire & Human story

This was a cute story that kept me listening, but it not about a modern person. The main female character violates several rules 1) don't date your client 2) don't act helpless 3) don't jump into relationships and a few others. But it was charming. The chaos follows me where ever I go philosophy was fund to watch unfold. Enjoy the story, just don't take it seriously. It reads more like one of those old 70s romances I stumbled across the other day. That said, I bought another in the series, because ultimately this is entertainment, and they do deliver.

Fun light read.

This was a funny story that takes place in the Jane Jameson world. You don't need to have read the Jane books but some of the characters make a quick appearance.

It made me laugh a lot, so I recommend you don't listen somewhere you can't burst out laughing.

My only complaint was it was a bit on the short side. : (

Great characters.

Another entertaining listen by Molly and Amanda reciting the story. Storyline was nice and twisty, just like I like it.

Another funny story.

This story centers around a very bad luck human Miranda and a stuff very old vampire Collin. The whole driving adventure just let's you know how bad luck Miranda is. You can't stop laughing at her misadventures. 🤣

Good Girls Like Bad Boys

Don’t know what I was thinking, but listened to another Vampire book. Well, I was thinking it’s only $5. Still trying to understand the popularity of these books. Part of it is the good girl / bad boy appeal. But also think some good girls like their bad boys with great rears.

If you like girls who are a bit saucy, and trouble seems to seek them out, then a book to consider.
