Miranda Puckett has failed at every job she’s ever had. Her mother just wants her to come home, join the family law firm, and settle down with Jason, the perfect lawyer boyfriend. But when Jason turns out to be a lying cheater, Miranda seizes on a job that gets her out of town: long-distance vampire transportation.
Her first assignment is to drive vampire Collin Sutherland from Washington to sleepy Half Moon Hollow without incident—no small feat for a woman whom trouble seems to follow like a faithful hound dog! And she has to do it without letting her passenger—the most persnickety, stuffy, devastatingly handsome vamp she’s ever met—drive her crazy. As she and Collin find disaster on the roads, they also find an undeniable spark between them. Could Miranda have found the perfect job and the perfect guy for her?

Plain and simple I Love to Read! Books take me places and make me feel the world...
I always love molly's books and Amanda Ronconi is one of the best narrators there is!
"A truly good book teaches me better than to read it. I must soon layout down, and commence living on its hint. what I began by reading, I must finish by acting" -Henry David Thoreau
Absolutely wonderful story! Over way too soon. Amanda Ronconi definitely has an understanding and feel for Molly Harper's writing style.
Busy mom who loves to read but doesn't always have the time. I enjoy YA, Romance and the occasional Best Seller.
I love Molly Harper and Amanda Ronconi. With this winning combination you can never go wrong. Very entertaining and light hearted but a little too short. Worth a credit but its perfect on sale. Don't pass this one up.
I am a 67 yo disabled Vet who lives in N. Texas. I was a medic in the Army during the Viet Nam war, got an MS in ecology and just retired.
This was hilarious. I laughed out loud several times listening to this, and that's a rare event. The author reminds me of Janet Evonivich in her self-deprechating ways and yet how she manages to get the job done.
Our heroine is a walking disaster area. Everything seems to go wrong, yet she somehow manages to pull things together at the last minute in some strange, and really funny way. This lighthearted romp through an alternate universe in which vampires and were-beings are "out" and humanity is learning to live with them is a great listen.
For anyone who needs some lighthearted listening, I recommend this.
I love to read!
This was my first book by Molly Harper/Amanda Ronconi, and I really enjoyed it. I needed a good laugh and I wasn't let down. Warning: I had to switch to music while walking my dog the other night, so my neighbors didn't wonder who the crazy person laughing hysterically in the dark was! I've since downloaded a couple of other books by the duo and they're great too.
Happiness is a good book!
OMG I love this book, love the story and the characters. This writer is so hilarious but it takes two & the narrator is awesome!
This is the funniest book! I loved the part with Dick Chaney and the rest of the gang. I love it that all the people from all the books know each other in some way. It's like coming home. Very hilarious and sexy book! It's better if you read all the books, but it would still be good if you only read this one.
I normally don’t rate the books I read, I’ve listen to about thirty books and rated one. If I agree with the rates/reviews of the other listener, why add more. When customers are being pointed in the right direction, another review agreeing with the others is not necessary.
If you are not into slapstick comedy, Molly Harper’s book will be boring to you. I never felt the need to laugh, and I kept thinking when will this be over. The reviews were so great, I brought two books at the same time. These books are for the kind of person that thinks movies like, There's Something About Mary, Home Alone Series, Dumb & Dumber, National Lampoon's Vacation Series, and Blades of Glory are worth watching. I will never waste my time on any of those movies because I dislike slapstick comedy. To make it clear, I’m not saying Molly Harper’s books are bad, I’m just saying, “know your genre.” The review talk mostly about laughter, I never felt the need to laugh as I painfully listen to both books.
I was disappointed in the direction the story took - for me there were no surprises, and nothing really great about it.
As dull as those Twilight books
