Very enjoyable.
I enjoyed this first book in the Elder Race Series. Dragos’ character is very well developed and interestingly complex. There were points where the story dragged a bit with too much detail.
The narration was strong although I felt that the male voices were somewhat similar.
Overall well done.

What a fantastic read!
Where does Dragon Bound rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This has become one of my favorite books. What a pleasant surprise.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Pia. Understated but fierce for her size and disposition.
Which character – as performed by Sophie Eastlake – was your favorite?
Dragos. She does an excellent job conveying his alpha male status.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Dragos first catches up with Pia. This moment is electric.

Well worth the left turn to Fantasy!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Dragon Bound?
When a spunky little spitfire can look in a giant’s eyes and say “Big Guy” then curl up on his lap, well the story line and characters had me!
What about Sophie Eastlake’s performance did you like?
Sophie’s voice took me by surprise and made me pause and check my library. Then Google gave me an education about pseudonyms. I will be searching for Sophie/Julia’s work when I browse for new books.

Pretty okay story and plot line
I enjoyed the characters and plot very much. However there were some pretty big paranormal romance stereotypes, fall in love to fast, mate and just before you think the story will end well she gets kidnapped. But it was good.
