The sexy, breathtaking mystery continues in New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Lisa Renee Jones' stunning second novel in the suspenseful Careless Whispers series - where shocking truths will reveal themselves, and nothing - and no one - will ever be the same.
Still struggling with amnesia, and in the wake of the startling revelation at the end of Denial, Ella questions everything she's known about Kayden Wilkens - the alluring stranger who claims to have found her unconscious in an alleyway a month earlier. But was he truly a stranger - or did Kayden know her before his supposed rescue? Tormented by the potential betrayal he denies, with fleeting memories of a bombshell in her recent past, Ella must face a hard reality. Every action has consequences...and trusting Kayden, the one thing she most desires, might result in the direst consequences of all.
New York Times and USA Todaybest-selling author Lisa Renee Jones, whose searing novels generate "enough heat...to start a fire" (RT Book Reviews), dares you to fall in love with her irresistibly surprising and scandalously erotic new series.

That had endless amounts of ups and downs! Which was like a wild rollercoaster ride at some points. Let's not forget the wild passion and electric energy. Dang those sparks were hot as hell! Lisa Renee Jones had these characters jumping off the pages. Making you feel every like they were alive and real.
“Demand” had me reeling even after reading it twice now.
Now I'm craving for the next book!

Both main characters are strong and have scars, which makes them interesting. The chemistry between them is hot but the narration takes a bit off that hotness for me.
I’ve read the books a couple of years ago and I’m now revisiting Italy through the audiobooks.

Would you listen to Demand again? Why?
Lisa writes a real complex story this continues from denial a must read first . I love all the twists and turns to the story and it just got even more intriguing can't wait for the finale . The narrator is a excellent choice she really conveys all the different characters and would have me questioning if its the same person , so very happy to give the whole thing a very worthy 5starsusual level of intrigue

*MUST READ DENIAL FIRST.*
I don't know how I miss the release of this book. I had it on my stalking list. I'm sure my oversight is due to my book whorish ways.
This book picks up right where Denial left off with Ella holding a gun on Kayden. Holy Moly! I had to go back and skim through denial to get a refresher after just listening to the preface of the book. It'd been over a year and 400+ books in between. The second go round was no less intriguing and had chomping at the bit for this book even more.
The narrator did an amazing job with all the character giving each one their own distinctive voice and bringing them all to life. Very impressed with Elizabeth Louise storytelling.
I don't want to give anything away because I don't want to take away from the suspense of it all. Lisa Renee did an amazing job weaving everything together keeping me on the edge of my seat throughout. Seriously, I got so into the story while folding laundry, that at quite a few points I was wringing shirts, towels, and the like.
I felt more connected to Ella and Kayden in this book. Maybe it was the audiobook but I felt Lisa gave them more life.
I can't wait to get my hand on Surrender. There are still so many questions that are killing me.
I need Surrender!
