After years of trying to become pregnant without success, Rachel Dawson and her husband, Thomas, felt their dreams had finally come true the day they brought home their newly adopted twin babies. Though the lawyer Baron Bell who arranged for the surrogate mother charged a hefty six-figure fee, one glance into the eyes of their precious children told them it was all worth it - until the birth mother reappeared, first demanding more money, then the twins themselves. Suddenly, Baron Bell was nowhere to be found, and the Dawsons were once again childless, heartbroken, and nearly destitute.
When the case finds its way to the offices of high-profile attorney Lizzie Fox, she can’t wait to take down the so-called “Mr. Wonderful”. And she knows she’ll have all the help she needs, as it’s just the kind of crime that really gets the Sisterhood’s adrenalin flowing. Once they get their hands on the perpetrators, there will be hell to pay, and it will cost a lot more than cold, hard cash.

Another great story...fast paced and fun! I enjoy the books more when the sisters are helping people they or one of the recurring characters has some sort of a connection to instead of total out of the blue people....its helps the story/books to move forward and keep it on going! This series is so good.....I already have the next 3 books downloaded and at the ready!
Have listened to all the first 16 in order and basically loved them. Guess I am just a vigilante at heart! And while I know they have all revolved around very serious subjects and had unique solutions for punishments (usually kind of stretching credulity) the later ones seem more light-hearted than the first ones. And this one had some moments of uproarious laugh out loud humor (especially the guys and the babies)! I thought I would die laughing. Now it is on to #17. Thanks for letting me share; i usually prefer not to do so but this time I just couldn't help myself...
The characters and the narrator all together has made a wonderful series. I have listened to the entire series and have enjoyed each one.
Listening to the voices of the characters bring the story alive. The narrator does a wonderful job doing both the female and male voices. Every now and then a new character comes in and will sound very similar to a previous characters voice but all in all she does a wonderful job.
Reading Fern Michaels is one of my favorite-I've read all of the Sisterhood's and can't wait to read the next one--I would tell readers to read all of them--you will get hook on the Sisterhood
