Then she gets talked into adopting a cat she's allergic to. Her first thought is to neuter the cat. But when he turns out to be a gorgeous shapeshifting man who claims to be an immortal vampire slayer she thinks: not so fast. Next thought: seek professional help.
Susan doesn't know what to believe, but as she's drawn into a paranormal world, she comes to realize that the story that could bring her credibility is too unbelievable to expose. Now it's no longer a question of bringing the truth to her readers, it's a matter of saving lives and souls, and her only ally is a man she's allergic to.
In the world of the Dark-Hunters, it's always dangerous. But never more so than when one very human woman can shatter their entire world with just one story. The only question is...will she? Dark Side of the Moon is full of Sherrilyn Kenyon's trademark sexy humor and breathtaking imagination.
Love in vein: listen to another Dark-Hunter novel.

"Poignant yet action-driven romance." (Booklist)
I have listened to the books and love them. I need book 4 thru 9 now! Had to skip to book 10, why are the others not out yet and why does it skip so many?
Lover of ideas who feels no guilt at all about her pleasures.
I thought this book was a blast. Fast pace, appealing characters, snappy dialougue and an excellent reader. Of Course there are shape- shifting dark hunters saving humanity from the evil daemons. Makes purrfect sense!
There's always something to read in my purse
I am soooo excited to see that Sherrilyn's books are now on Audible! I love them, but know that I will only get to read them when I have 3 hours at a time - because I can't put them down. Now I can listen - and my only complaint is that it 'listened' as fast as they usually read. I wanted it to last longer.
This book is full of everything that a paranormal romance reader would love. A quirky, strong leading lady, a sexy, manly (though a little furry sometimes) leading man. Sherrilyn Kenyon does not disappoint. It’s a rollercoaster ride that was a bit of a nail bitter, but more than enjoyable. I can’t wait to go on it again.
But then again, see for yourself I’m a huge, ENORMOUS fan, but even not for that it was a wonderful ride.
My ONLY disappointment in this book was that it was the abridged version, but it was still awesome! It'll make you laugh & hang onto the edge of your seat at the same time as well as some sighing for the mushier scenes. I really hope for more of her books to show up on audible!!!
This book should have been labeled a comic book in the genre of the Fantastic Four. I would not recommend it to anyone interested in a real fiction novel.
