At the beginning of this book I thought the back story would never end & the romance begin. Even with that said I couldn't put it down, especially when the main couple finally got together. I particularly loved Josh. He is such a perfect hero. I also loved the relationship between the three "sisters" which kept the book interesting throughout.
I decided to use my time being laid up to get smarter! In 18 months I've listened to over 200 books, mostly history, literature & biography.
I saw the Monterey locale and have appreciated the writing of Nora Roberts, even if that makes me cringe a little.
Didn't come up to her usual snuff. The bed scenes were a little too much for my taste. Fabio came to mind.
The Monterey references were a bit too generic for this Monterey native.
The only problem I had was the beginning of the book otherwise it's amazing. The reader sounded a bit goofy doing children voices but that was pretty short. Great book.
I don't mind her voice but some of her female characters sound either too you or too old. Margo's voice sounds like Margo's character but Laura sounds like a 50 year old woman while Kate sounds like she's 12. I don't think I could listen to the two other books in this trilogy. I would rather read them.
This series focuses on the bonds of female friendship and fashion.
Our hero, Josh, is the greatest. Savior and vulnerable.
She clearly switches voices for each character so you don't have to wonder who is talking.
I would have, but it is a little long for a single sitting.
Hot story with fashion, travel, society, and steamy sex.
Nice "romance" story
Just enjoyed the story. Made me want to hurry n get the other two "dream" books
