Death and pain brought them together.
Vengeance and darkness might tear them apart.
Kade Maxwell will do anything to save Lacey Robinson from her past - and from herself. A task that is harder than he ever realized as fate has something else in store.
Bound and determined to push through her demons and achieve her dreams, Lacey just might dare to go too far - right into the arms of a killer.
Dare to Dream is the second book in the final story of Kade and Lacey's journey.

I enjoyed Dare to Kiss, so I was excited to listen to Dare to Dream. It is a continuation of Lacey and Kade. I love to continue with them .
The author took the time to develope Lacey and Kade's story without making it boring. There were several intense moments but the author brought them to a good conclusion. Although Lacey is dealing with demons from her past Kade is determined that he will help her get through the dark and find light and love on the other side.
I believe that this story will tug at your heart strings and make you come to love these to. Another story that chronicles their later years would be nice.
I was given this book via audiobook blast for an honest review.
Books give a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything. - Plato
I really enjoyed the first book and this one is a great addition to the Maxwell Series.
Lacey is still dealing with her past and she will come face to face with her mom's killer. There is suspense, romance, & some drama.
Kade is learning to balance his protectiveness for Lacey & her demands to be included on everything that is going on without hiding anything from her.
The narrator did a great job bringing the story to life. The story is told in dual POV. There are no cliffhangers but the story is open to what will happen when Lacey goes to college.

This is book 2 in the Maxwell series. We get to revisit the brothers and friends. Lots of suspense and mystery about things that began in book 1. We travel this road with Lacey and Kade hoping they will end up happy and together. Guess we will need another book to find out. It kept me intrigued.
The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed.

I haven't read the print version.
I don't know that I can think of one off the top of my head...
Just the original book in this series "Dare to Kiss" and I still think she was excellent, perfect as the female character!
Tho occasionally Kade sounds kinda nerdy and less than the super hot bf heirs described to be - the clear differentiation between characters is amazing.
I did find myself lingering to finish a chapter or wearing my headphones in the house when normally I would not.
I liked the twist - I did not see the plot coming and tho the conclusion was kinda generic it didn't feel that way during the story- definitely recommend this book, and hope for a third!

Lacey continues her search about who killed her family in this great book. Kade is there once again to support her and get her through it.
This book is full of suspense, drama, death and overcoming all obstacles. It's a much different feel from Dare to Kiss.
I LOVED IT! The characters were strong, powerful and Lacey really figures out that she can do it and will get through it.
Once again, I couldn't stop listening. I think my favorite part was how the story switched from Lacey to Kade constantly and we as the audience, got to hear both their points of view. Very nice writing. I CAN NOT WAIT to hear the next story in this series and see what happens.
The narration was once again very strong and solid. Lacey came back as her insecure self (in the beginning) and found her "Girl Power." Kade sounded just like a responsible, intelligent teenage guy. I found a great respect for him in this book as he showed his love and strength, not only for Lacey, but for his family too.
A HOME RUN
Wow. Worth the wait! This book shifted gears to the max. Fun, action packed, exciting. Kade is great. Lacey is a badass. This was definitely my favorite.one. Glad I listened.

Good flowing story. Beautifully descriptive from the characters and settings the emotions of the characters. Narration wasn't my favorite and made it drag out to me.Although the story and developments in Lacey and Kades relationship makes up for the so so narration. So many feels with this story and real issues that the young characters are dealing with make this an incredible story.
Baseball, mystery, suspense, romance, sex, the mob, and family loyalty all combined in an entertaining and enjoyable story.
Even though I did not read the first book I had no problem understanding what was going on in the story. This is a continuation of Kade and Lacey's story.
Even though this Kade and Lacey's story, the bigger backdrop is the family loyalty. Love that it really comes through throughout the entire story.
Lacey is a fantastic character. Strong and vulnerable at the same time.
Kade Maxwell the bad boy. Protective, loyal, head over heels in love with Lacey.
Both have suffered tragic losses in their families and are both still suffering.
Kade and Lacey are trying to work out what they expect of each other. Lacey wanting to know everything and Kade keeping some secrets in order to protect her. The story reveals the who and why in regards to the murder of Lacey's mother and sister.
Amanda Fugate-Moss did a pretty good job with the narration. I enjoyed her character voices both male and female. Nice even pace. While her character voices were good there are several mispronounced words. Every time she announced the chapters I cringed.
Audio needs to be fixed there are repeated lines in chapter 31 and 32.

I didn't really get into this book. SB Alexander's writing was good and the characters were well developed. It was probably the story line that wasn't so interesting for me. There was romance and drama and a few twists to the story. Amanda Fugate-Moss was just OK - not bad but not wonderful.
