Publisher's summary

With his tawny mane, battle-hewn brawn, and ferocious roar, Angus “The Lion” MacDonald is the most fearsome warrior Lady Gwendolen has ever seen - and she is his most glorious conquest. Captured in a surprise attack on her father's castle, Gwendolen is now forced to share her bed with the man who defeated her clan. But, in spite of Angus's overpowering charms, she refuses to surrender her innocence without a fight. With her stunning beauty, bold defiance, and brazen smile, Gwendolen is the most infuriating woman Angus has ever known - and the most intoxicating. Forcing her to become his bride will unite their two clans. But conquering Gwendolen's heart will take all his skills as a lover. Night after night, his touch sets her on fire. Kiss after kiss, his hunger fuels her passion. But, as Gwendolen's body betrays her growing love for Angus, a secret enemy plots to betray them both.

Great Scot! Don't miss our other titles in the Highlander series.

Wonderful

If you could sum up Claimed by the Highlander in three words, what would they be?

A great listen

What was one of the most memorable moments of Claimed by the Highlander?

the whole book was memorable. I really enjoyed it

Which character ??? as performed by Antony Ferguson ??? was your favorite?

Angus and Lachlan were favorites. Lachlan, i would like to watch his character on the screen. Both of them, you will not forget.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Not laugh or cry but interesting that i did not want to quit listening.

Any additional comments?

i like books that if set in Scotland, the narrator uses the appropriate accent as was done in this book. Really makes you feel you are there.

A rough start

Is there anything you would change about this book?

no

Would you be willing to try another book from Julianne MacLean? Why or why not?

Maybe

Which character – as performed by Antony Ferguson – was your favorite?

The Lion, Angus. :)

Do you think Claimed by the Highlander needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No

Any additional comments?

The second book was really not as good as the first book. However, the chemistry between the hero and heroine was just was great. This book was about trust. I didn't like much of how it ended. I wish she add more to the ending. I always feel as though it was quite rushed, even in book one. The feelings at the ending was expressed quite fast and then it ended just like that. I didn't get to enjoy it as much. I thought the heroine forgave Angus too quickly. I mean, I understand why Angus has his doubts but still... The author could have dragged the ending on just a bit longer and tortured Angus just a bit more. :)

Angus where art thou?😊

I have enjoyed this trilogy immensely! Awesome Julianne MacLean. Of course Anthony Ferguson puts his classic touch on it. Laugh every time I hear his Scottish curse words. I have listened to all 3 several times. Romantic day dreaming at its finest.

Again. Get a better Narrator~~~~

Again, I appreciate all the work an author goes to in writing a book. However; do they bother to listen to their work once the narrator has completed it??!! Audio books is a huge venue for income for these authors! Please, take as diligent time choosing someone to read your book as you do in writing them! I will NOT buy another one of Julianne MacLean's books anywhere on audio if done by Antony Ferguson. And I'm but one person. However; these audio books are review by the customer and I for one pay close attention to what is written before I spend my money. I rather believe others do as well. Just saying~~~~~Pay Attention.

Don't waste your time nor your credit

Don't waste your time nor your credit, it's ridiculous and very slow. I couldn't go fast enough
