Heartwarming and sweet

The storyline in this book is a continuation of the first book in this series. There is nothing offensive or out of line here - just the telling of the lives of an Amish community started by some English maidels. I enjoyed the narrator and characters and look forward to listening to the next one in this series.

Christmas miracles

I enjoyed this continued story of Promise Lodge and their Plain folks. I was super concerned when both bishops were affected after trying to lessen what could have been a tragedy.

After listening to all of Beverly Lewis books I couldn’t find any others I like… Until NOW! So soothing and… well, such a happy story. Love the narrator! If you need a bit of an uplifting story then these Promise Lodge Stories are what you need!

great story

it is a good story. I just don't like how they leave the ending everytime.its like the story is only half done

Second book of new series

Again another good book. My only complaint with this book was it left out the conclusion to Roman and Mary Kate. I am hoping it will pickup in the next book. But reading the preview of it their is no mention of them and if they end up getting married. Just more new characters and more issues with them.
