Publisher's summary

Ash, Jace, and Gabe: three of the wealthiest, most powerful men in the country. They're accustomed to getting anything they want. Anything at all. For Ash, it's the woman who changes everything he’s ever known about dominance and desire....

When it comes to sex, Ash McIntyre has always explored his wilder side - extreme and uncompromising. He demands control. And he prefers women who want it like that. Even the ones he's shared with his best friend, Jace.

But Jace is involved with a woman he has no intention of sharing. And now even Gabe has settled into a relationship with someone who gives him everything he needs, leaving Ash feeling restless and unfulfilled.

Then Ash meets Josie, who seems immune to his charms and his wealth. Intrigued, he begins a relentless pursuit, determined she won’t be the one who got away. He never imagined the one woman to tell him no would be the only woman who’d ever drive him to the edge of desire.

Burn

I love this series and wish there was one more book to read/listen to. Maya wrote this with love and affection between 3 best friends who wouldn't hestiate to do anything for one another.

Little disappointing

This was kinda of a let down from the first two. Good writing, but the story was the same as the first two.
Narrator did a great job.

Still good stuff from Maya

Okay

Not as predictable as the first two of the series but still a good listen. The ending kind of corny.

Good conclusion to the trilogy

This was a good conclusion to the series. I wasn't sure after the first book, but the more I read, the more I liked it. The narrator on the audios wasn't great, but again, the more I listened the less I noticed him. Ash is the guy you would never think would settle down, get married and be domestic, but when he met Josie, it all changed. I liked that she was an artist and painted what she felt like, even when they weren't really selling. She didn't want to change herself for other people and that takes strength. Ash was so sweet with her and I liked seeing that protective side of him. This went by pretty quickly for me and wrapped up the three couples well.

Great book

I thought this was the best of the 3. Very exciting, erotic & romantic, Ash wasn’t a jerk like Jace & Gabe were (thou they made up for it). Mr Paul did much better with narration also. You could listen/read this one by itself but why not do all 3?

Unexpected ending

Would you listen to Burn again? Why?

Yes, I have enjoyed the trilogy. I liked how you continued to learn about the characters from the previous books.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the unexpected conflict in this book.

Have you listened to any of Adam Paul’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to Adam Paul in all three books. He did a great job with each character's voice.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No crying or laughing. There were parts that were intense.

Any additional comments?

I felt this was a good ending to all three books and I liked how they were all tied together.
