Sawyer Hudson, the only doctor in Buckhorn County, took it upon himself to rescue the beautiful but enigmatic woman who came literally crashing into his life. Though he knew he should keep things platonic and professional, around her his body had other ideas. And his heart was no more cooperative.
Honey Malone was on the run, fleeing a dangerous predator, when she lost control of her car, drove into a lake… and found herself up to her neck in breathtaking men. After the brothers nursed her through her injuries, she tried to leave, but she hadn’t bargained on their stubborn protectiveness. Or the passionate bond that tied her to Sawyer.
Morgan Hudson commanded a lot of respect as Buckhorn’s biggest, baddest sheriff. How one petite city woman could turn him on his head was a mystery, not to mention being downright aggravating. But Misty Malone did just that, and Morgan couldn’t wait till she went back where she belonged. But then he discovered why she’d come in the first place.
Misty Malone had hoped to take refuge with her sister, who’d just married into a family of sinfully attractive brothers. They all treated her like gold—all but one. Morgan seemed to think she was some sort of femme fatale, out to seduce his brothers. But seduction was the last thing on her mind. Foremost was the baby she was secretly carrying. And then, how to avoid the sexual sparks flying between her and Morgan.

thought I had hit a back button when got to end of epilogue and it went back a whole 1hr and repeated and then at end of that epilogue had the music .... needs to be fixed.
The storyline was shallow - she could have done much more with this story!
She talked way too fast; didn't distinguish between characters so it was really hard to follow; and she did an overall poor job.
Disappointment - what a waste of time and money.
Overall, I would say this book was a fun, light, easy read. I sometimes found the narrator's style slightly dramatic, and at one point I heard her swallow. But, the thing that kind of irritated me was the main character, Honey Malone. She just didn't come across as being very smart. However, some of the other characters are interesting. In fact, my favorite character was the teenage son.
For the most part, this was a decent audiobook. I just recommend waiting until it's on sale to purchase it. I wouldn't waste a whole credit on it.
How the author basically had two seperate stories under one cover was great.
I'd say having a woman in a strictly man only zone left some pretty funny moments in the stories.
I'd say Honey was my favorite character. I connected with her the most I guess because I'm just as suburn and independent as she is.
I did listen to it all in one sitting.
I like the story line of these two stories. I will deffinately put more books from this author into my wish list to find out what happens to the other brothers to see what woman will come along to tame the rest of men under one roof. :D
Oh my this was good! Such a good story & great descriptions of...EVERYTHING! I love this brothers...on to the next one! I was so sad when this ended...
I think this book rates in the top ten. I can't do better since I have quite a few favorites.
Sawyer because he seemed so caring and rugged.
She is very good at different characters. I listen to books at work and a good narrator makes all the difference. Would listen to other books by her anytime.
I am greatly looking forward to the rest of the books in this series. I love that some of my favorite authors are having more of their books come out on audio.
Sassy dialogue, humor, and a great reader are important to me.
reader Isabelle Gordon brings the best out of Ms Foster Buckhorn characters
A.G Akin Dragon series; strong male characters
reader has a rich male voice and brings the hero's to life
please have ms gordon read more of ms Foster's books; Gabe and Jordan story.
I really liked this book. It was actually like two books in one the way one characters story seemed to end and anothers began. I would like to see a series with all the brothers.
Classic Nora Roberts. As always, fun, interesting, feel good story. But that voice? I dont' know if I can listen to the rest of the series with that whiny attempt at a woman's or child's voice. Love Nora, hate the voice.
