Publisher's summary

Sometimes you meet the right person at the wrong time…

Mark Williams has loved Meredith since he was seventeen. A successful man with a strong family, he's worked hard to move on from Meredith breaking his heart all those years ago. When his path crosses with the only woman he's ever loved again years later, Mark knows there is nothing he won't do to keep her in his life. But when the going gets tough, will Meredith stick around or will he lose her again?

But true love has a way of finding its way back.

Meredith Summers is a dancer. One of the first things she learned in following her dreams is that timing is everything. She has spent the past ten years following her dream touring with mega-stars while trying to forget the high school sweetheart she left behind. Now she's back in Seattle, running a successful dance studio with her best friend Jax and determined to move on from her gypsy past. Until the day she sees Mark Williams and time stands still. It's as if no time has passed at all when Meredith finds herself in Mark's arms again. The chemistry, the bonds and the love are as strong as ever and hearing Mark whisper breathe with me in her ear is a balm to her wounded soul. But will she grab onto this second chance at love, or is the timing all wrong for them again?

Don't miss catching up with the Montgomery and Williams clans in this latest installment of the With Me In Seattle Series from New York Times best-selling author, Kristen Proby.

Love this series

This series is a favorite of mine that I read and listen to time and time again. I honestly can not say how many times I've gotten to the end of the series, Dom's story, and then started them all over again.. Kristen Proby is an amazing author and I thank her tremendously for bringing these awesome families into my EVERYDAY life. I mean that honestly! Not to mention, the lady can write 1 hell of a very steamy scene or 20...

Hated the female reader

Female performer made the Hero sound like a wimpy little boy, not at all the big strong man she described. The girl voices of Natalie and Jules was like a prepubescent school girl., her too cutesy voice was not good for story telling. However the male performer was great, he se the 3 stars instead of one.

Good story, HORRIBLE narrator!

This is the first book in the series that I've read. I Liked it alot, the storie is good, the caracter and there relationships are good. But......... The voice Jennifer Mack uses for the main character Mark is just plain bad, really bad....HORRIBLE!!! Really Jennifer don't ever use that voice again it kills the mood, the storie, the feeling of it.

Great addition to the series :D

4.5-5 stars

This was a great addition to the series. I liked both Mark and Meredith as characters and they were sweet together. I really enjoyed seeing them get back together and work stuff out.

Meredith is an ex-professional dancer that now owns a dance studio. She owns the studio with her BFF (a fellow dancer), Jax. Meredith lost her father and sister in an accident when she was 13 and it scarred her deeply. Meredith decided to retire from dancing and move home to open the studio when he mother got sick. Unfortunately, her mother wasn't able to recover and Meredith lost her as well.

Mark is the brother to Luke and Samantha (from books #1 & 4) and works for a construction business owned by Isaac (book # 1.5) as a forman. He actually went to college for science but found he didn't like being in a lab. He worked in Alaska for years on fishing boats until Luke and Nat got married and started a family, then Mark decided to come home and ended up working for Isaac.

Mark and Meredith were high school sweethearts that loved each other a lot. They had made plans for them both to move to New York upon graduation so Meredith could pursue her dance career but when a teacher made Meredith think about things, she decides that maybe she shouldn't take Mark with her after all. Meredith broke up with Mark and it broke both of their hearts. The thing is, I can see how Meredith was right to do what she did because with all the time she spent practicing and touring, she and Mark would have never had any time together and they probably would have broken up anyways and in a much worse manner. So they're apart for 10 years and see each other for the first time at her mom's funeral. Mark thinks that Meredith is with Jax (not realizing he's really just her gay BFF) so he doesn't reach out to see her again and since Meredith broke up with him all those years before, she wasn't willing to reach out (even if she wanted to).

Thankfully, they do run in to each other at a dance recital. Bryn's daughters (see book #5) are taking classes at the dance studio and the whole Montgomery/Williams clan shows for the recital. Once Mark realizes that Meredith is single he decides he's going to win her back and never let her go again. He expresses his interest in getting to know each other again and seeing if they could possibly renew their relationship. Meredith missed Mark and is still very attracted to him so she agrees. They do pretty well together and fall back into their relationship quickly and easily since the feelings never really faded for either of them. There is a bit of conflict with Mark's worry that Meredith might go back to professional dance and leave him again. On the opposite side, Meredith has to deal with the unexpected jealousy when she's confronted with Mark's man-whorish past. Those conflicts are pretty easy to get past though. There is another conflict that's a little more of an issue for them but things work out well and the story ends up with Mark and Meredith (M & M) starting their HEA together.

I really enjoyed this story and the characters were great. I really liked Mark and Meredith but the rest of the Montgomery/Williams clan as well. I was LMAOing at the bachelorette party...so funny! Overall, this was a great reunion story with little angst and a great cast of characters. I'd recommend this book. :-)

* note - The story was a mixed PoV with parts from both Meredith and Mark's PoVs. There was a female narrator for Meredith's part and a male narrator for Mark's part. Both narrators did a pretty good job.

Another one of the Seattle Series.....

Would you listen to Breathe with Me again? Why?

Don't get me wrong, but I fell in love with Leo so, yes maybe I would listen to Breathe with Me again but I definitely have listened to Rock with me a gazillion times so far.......

What was one of the most memorable moments of Breathe with Me?

Hearing Mark whisper 'breathe with me' in her ear...

What does Jennifer Mack and Eric Michael Summerer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love Eric Michael Summerer his voice is magnificent, and Jennifer Mack is perfect too!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Breathe with Me of course!

Any additional comments?

Thank you very much Kristen Proby for all the Seattle books, and thanks Jennifer Mack and Eric Michael Summerer for your lovely voices that gave life to all those books we fell in love with.

Just keeps getting better!

OMG. What a story......I listened in one sitting. Couldn't stop! I laughed so hard during the "girls night out" in Vegas. Cried uncontrollably with Meredith after Mark's accident! The end was my kind of ending, already a little sad that next book is the last......oh no, but I'll enjoy it and then plan to listen to them all again.
