Publisher's summary

In the Ichidian Universe where The League is law, most live in fear. We fight back. Welcome to a world where corrupt assassination politics dominate everyone. It's kill or be killed. Welcome back to the future…and meet hell's new breed of heroes.

Devyn Kell spent his life in service to the League until he learned of the double dealing and backstabbing that was costing innocent people their lives. Refusing to play those politics, he became a Runner—someone who makes sure planets get the weapons, medicine and supplies they need to survive. May the gods have mercy on any who get in his way, because he definitely won't.

Alix Garran is a woman on the run from a past she can't escape. Signing on to work for Devyn as a System's Engineer, she finds a cause she can fight for—and a man she can respect. But as Alix's past catches up to her, and Devyn's old enemies turn lethal, they have to fight together…or fall alone, in Born of Ice, the third bestselling League novel from Sherrilyn Kenyon.

All good things!

I own the complete series in paperbacks and have read them multiple times so, yes excellent series and each story is definitely kick A** adventure! Aside from the first book’s narration being not so awesome this and book 2 have redeemed themselves on that front. So again I say all good things!

Good not amazing

Truly enjoyed this book but after the first two this one seemed....phoned in? Idk maybe it’s bc it is significantly shorter than the previous ones, but it was really kind of a rehash of the last book. It was nice to meet a male character who was the product of a good, loving childhood. I hope we meet more of those, even though I love a tortured hero. I guess maybe this is like an intro into a next gen of the League/Sentella & it definitely worked well in that capacity. I’m excited to go on to the next story & I love the characters who were introduced in this story.

Defend Your Family

It has been a while when a book made me feel like the characters we're family. I have enjoyed books and really liked the characters. But, this book pulls you in. I had laughed, screamed and yelled out loud. Ride the waves of emotions. I could immediately read this book gain.

Great Book, Sherri never disapoints!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yeap. I personally love sherrilyn Kenyon and think she's one of the best writers in her genre. She's managed to figure out a perfect mixture of Wounded Hero's or Heroine's, action, humor and love. I started with her Dark Hunter books, and now i'm listening to the league books too. Really love this author, and i really love her characters.

The only thing i would say about this book was that the naration could have been a bit better. He used this low, husky, almost whispery voice, which made most his female voices sound a little... eh, strange/forced. i wouldnt say he was BAD, but it did distract me, and i found it hard to concentrate on the story sometimes. though, by the end of the book i was far more used to it and didnt find it as distracting.

Again, he's not a BAD reader, just not perfect for this particular book perhaps.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Shoot, hehe, i really love sway, vick and Dev. Also Omari. hehe, you have to love a book where you feel genuine affection for just about all of the characters!!!

Which scene was your favorite?

probably one of the last scenes, where a certain bad guy gets demolished. I wont say more then that so i dont ruin the book for others.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

lol. "When Alix joined the ships crew, she did so with danger in tow. Good thing Captain Devyn Kell never backs down from a fight. If they work together, they may just find out they have more to fight for then they realized."

i dunno, i'm not the best tagline writer hehee.

Any additional comments?

Only other comment i have is that if you are even remotely a vampire lover, or greek mythology lover, deffinately check out Kenyon's dark hunter serries. And really any thing else the woman might do. she's insanely talented. i appreciate her work so much!

Great story

This next chapter explores the next generation of hero’s. The sons and daughters of the main characters from books one and two. If you liked the first two books, you’ll love this story as well. There are similar themes as to the earlier books and the fun, charming personalities come off the page. I highly recommend this book and won’t include any spoilers—read for yourself!

What did you like best about this story?

If the have read the other League books you will get a real kick out of this one. Time has past and the children of the original books are all grown and getting into trouble of there own and finding love.

Born of Ice

So far, i love every installment of the League novels. I have just got into to audio books, and have only heard around 4 narrators, but Fred Berman is awesome!
