Baojia has been banished from LA for the last 3 years by Don Ernesto Alvarez after his granddaughter Bea was injured. Baojia was guarding Bea when she and her husband Gio traveled to China.But trouble has found Baojia, just over the border in Mexico, and nearby, in the form of sexy Ace Reporter Natalie Ellis.
Pearlman does an ok job of narration.

I enjoyed this book, but out of all of the elemental and elemental world books, this was my least favorite....but still ranks a 4 out of 5 star rating. The story line was a little predictable, but yet different. It's good, just not the best. Ms. Hunter is a fantastic writer who sucks you into the world of good and bad vampires. Great character development and flow to the story. I was a title surprised that the main character left his sire though, that did surprise me.

Love this story and I'm so very happy that "George" got his own book. Great addition to the series!

I don't want to finish the story, but it's so good I can't put it down. I recommend her books to my friends and anyone who wants to read a good book☺☺
