This is a great read and listen. Love the relationship between the two main characters. Awesome way to spend a weekend.

OMG

Gideon Cross is a great replacement for your Christain Gray withdrawals. Very hot and great story. It's hard to wait for Book 2. My imagination is running wild about what happened at the end when he returned to the apt. If you like 50 Shades, you'll like this too.

What made the experience of listening to Bared to You the most enjoyable?

FANTASTIC! Hadn't read the book first so it was just an absolute treat!!!!!! I have no idea how Sylvia Day has flown under my radar all this time but what an absolute delight to have found her. This is a great story, with characters that just caught me from page one. I cannot wait to read/listen to the entire three books of this trilogy! And along with that was the perfect narration of Jill Redfield, another first for me and I will be looking for her name again.

What did you like best about this story?

Both main characters are so agonisingly flawed, and yet they complete each other, it's not the usual boy meets girl, problem, happy ending ..... oh no its messier than that.

I was simple unable to stop listening - I let the world just disappear and I was engrossed

50 Shades compatible

Book was very very similar to the 50 Shades triligy but with a better author. Sylvia Day did a much better job of not using the same language & descriptors over and over. I liked Ava in this book more than Anna in 50 Shades . She is not nearly the "innocent" that Anna was which makes her more fun in my opinion. Guidian is all but a carbon copy of Christian from 50 shades so he will certainly hold your attention!

heartwrenching

I enjoyed the story line, very emotional. makes me wonder if there are really people out there that put so much effort into making a relationship work.

The idea of dom/sub takes on an entirely new meaning in this book.

Gideon and Eva both have the same type demons... Only Eva is more open to communicating about her past than Gideon is... At the end on this Book, Gideon is still a mystery...

When 2 damaged people know that they really should not be together... but can't keep away from each other... It makes the story more bitter-sweet. An emotional roller-coaster that had me rooting for the success of this bad-idea mistake.

I loved Cary, and would really love to know his story..

The narration is marvelous and Jill was a perfect choice for this hot, sexy and captivating read!

Young Love or Lust

Sylvia makes me long to be a young twenty-something again for the physical benefits alone! The main characters are young, successful, gorgeous, and hot. The passion and emotional turmoil take the reader on a roller-coaster ride. I was left with a lot of questions about Gideon and Eva which I hope to get answered in the second book.

I would say it is in the top 30% of books I have purchased

What was most disappointing about Sylvia Day’s story?

It was insulting at how much the characters mimics the Fifty Shades of Grey Characters. Ava (vs Ana) is young and insecure with her first job. Gidian Cross (vs Christian Grey, CG & GC) is a late 20's powerful CEO with a dark past and falls for the main character at first site.

What does Jill Redfield bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She brings the character to life.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I would like to have but it's too long to do so.

I like the book overall and will buy the subsequent books but it irritates me just how much of a rip off the characters were to Fifty Shades of Grey!
