oh brought out the emotions this one did they just get better with each book great series

GREAT SERIES

NOT A VERY GREAT NARRATOR. IT WON'T KEEP ME FROM LISTENING TO IT BUT IT'D BE REALLY GREAT IF THE PERSON DOING THE NARRATING DID AS GOOD A JOB AT THE FEMALE VOICES AS THE MALE VOICES. THAT'S MY ONLY PROBLEM. SHE MAKES ALL THE WOMEN SOUND LIKE THEIR CRYING PRACTICALLY.

Again, another great book in the series

This one was another great book, even though Archangels Storm is still my favorite, with Jason and his princess, but this one is a great one, too, that keeps you on edge . Much better this time, narrator Justine Eyre. As long as she keeps that whiny ,shaky voice away, it is really awesome

What did you love best about Archangel's Legion?

I wasn't bored for an instant. I LOVE this series but I was actually a bit put off when I saw it was another Elena/Raphael story. I was really hoping for a story about another one of the seven so I put off buying this story. I had it in my head that I would be bored with another installment of these two, but I was very, very wrong. The story is face paced. The tension of the situation is really well done. I really like how she doesn't try to "sell" you on the bond between Elena and Raphael, she simply develops it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Archangel's Legion?

The last 45 minutes. Without giving any spoilers, I'll just say that the additions at the end are something I'm very interested to see developed.

I love this book. It's my favorite of the entire series which is why I was excited to buy the audio. The narrators rendition of Elena the main character was whiny. Gratingly whiny. Even when yelling "Fire in the hole" and "This is my city" during the battle it was damn whiny. Most of the characters had the same inflection, there was no real emotion put into the performance other than whiny.
I'm afraid I won't be buying another audio for this series because I just couldn't stand the voices. Towards the end I just wanted it TO end. Again, this is a wicked awesome series totally buy the books but the narrator I'm afraid ruined the audio for me. I'll stick with the books & my own rendition of the voices. Totally returned this audio.

What made the experience of listening to Archangel's Legion the most enjoyable?

I like the voice that Justine Eyre gives to the characters. I sometimes forget she's doing all the voices!

What did you like best about this story?

The surprise of the ending. Though I knew that the main characters were unlikely to die. I was still surprised at the arrival of the legion.

Have you listened to any of Justine Eyre’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Justine Eyre consistently provides an easy to follow, quality performance.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The battle scenes....and the moments before the final scene in the battle.

Nalini Singh does it again absolutely spectacular book and Series grabs you from the beginning keeps you enthralled until the end narration is perfect as always with Justine Eyre MUST READ

Would you try another book from Nalini Singh and/or Justine Eyre?

I have listened to other books by Nalini Singh and read by Justine Eyre. Not sure what was up, but the narration was just wildly different. It may not have been bad, but when you are expecting what you enjoyed in the other books of the same series, read by the same author - it was a disappointment.

Would you recommend Archangel's Legion to your friends? Why or why not?

I would say if you like the series to read the book, this audio rendition is not up to snuff.

Would you be willing to try another one of Justine Eyre’s performances?

I have liked other performances by Justine Eyre, but if they sound like this one, I will skip it.

Was Archangel's Legion worth the listening time?

I just got the book and read it, I did not finish the audio version.
